Leave it!   If you want to start a topic about where to live, go ahead, but this arguing is silly.

What a strange post ?

Guess the beach trip is cancelled..attachicon.gifIMG_20150930_124106.jpg

Guess you got the same as me then, very black clouds and now it certainly isn't beach weather. Quite heavy rain.

Your pic doesn't show it very clearly for me, and it isn't resizing to fit.

I have to go over Suk today...........@ 11 a.m.

It looks very threatening in that direction.............I can see black ominous clouds from my balcony.

Has anything started yet over there?

Just a bit of spitting started here (North of town) but heavy, dark looking skies.

Temperature has dropped too which normally indicates something heavier....

As of a minute ago, a hard wind has hit and the skies are looking dark and ominous.

And, since I started this post, it's begun to rain.

Well, after all, it is rainy season still.

Here too, just got serious.

Watching my pool boy vacuuming while wearing one of those waterproof hooded things, looks like a big green condom running around.

From OP Jomtien, some rain to the SE and a heavy squall to the SW. I think the heavy dark cloud is moving south.

Raining just upstream from the Hanmuman statue now.

Well the warnings are out again......

32 provinces on alert for Storm Mujigae

BANGKOK, 3 October 2015 (NNT) – The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) has instructed its local units in 32 risk-prone provinces to be prepared for relief operations as Storm Mujigae is likely to bring stormy weather to the upper part of the country.

Director-General Chatchai Promlert disclosed that Tropical Storm Mujigae would grip the upper North, Northeast and East between 4 and 6 October. Provincial relief offices are closely monitoring disaster-prone areas in 32 provinces and get ready for relief operations, as the storm might trigger flashfloods and mudslide.

Watch it here.

It looks very similar to the one I posted! :D

Just after 6:00 a.m. and a small rumble of thunder and some lightning flashes have worken me up. I guess anytime an area is recovering from drought, rain is good. So it is this morning.

Off topic question: How can a little 4 foot 11 inch, 95 lb little Thai girl snore so loudly? I'm thinking that I've gotten older, I've come to value my personal time and space. STs are more and more attractive to me.

Raining at my place after a bit of thunder.

Quite a lot of 'weather' heading SE from upper Central area.

So I expect more to come......

Bloody grass needs cutting now, last month it looked like the baseline at the end of Wimbledon.

A few minutes later:

Getting serious now, paddling and traffic chaos in town I think!

Dang, I guess this is a good day to head on over to Big C to watch a movie later on.

I had hoped to make it over to Bliss late this afternoon, but am not interested in getting stuck.

I was just doing my swim .......Only me and one other swimmer, a bloke doing breast-stroke + the new robot that cleans the pool.

Cracks of thunder and flashes of lightning...........I'm calculating that his head is sticking up further out of the water than my front-crawl style and he'll get hit before me.

I'm a nasty sod.

Storm blasting near my hotel (LK The Empress). A crack of thunder just blasted right overhead, startling the crew working breakfast. Rain coming down in buckets, but Beach Road handling it. Just some standing puddles of water in low parts of road.

Edited to add: never mind. Raining too hard for drains to handle. 2-3 inches of water on beach road, worse on the beach side of street. Standing water levels growing.

Edited again. In 3 minutes, water is to the top of curb along beach of Beach Road. It's overflowed onto the sidewalk in some places. Dang, water accumulates fast here.

Well Harvey, it should mostly all flow towards the sea!

It is slowing and brightening up here to the North now, and the radar image suggests it is breaking up and heading off to points East. Pattaya can drain and get back to normal.

I shall go for a swim when it stops proper....don't want to get wet.

She has taken the truck and I know the road near me, which has been under construction, will be a quagmire, it nearly had me off my bike the other day as the water hid some dangers! Hopefully dry for my trip to a curry by the lake tonight.
