I stopped in front of the place yesterday. It was like a building site! I presumed the work going on was part of the business and from what I can see it will have a large frontage on the Beach Rd. I think it will pull in the tourists as it appeared well up market from your standard soi Honey Inn MP with solitary malfunctioning shower that has you feeling nervous as you stand in a few cm of water that doesn't appear to be draining away. I will pop back again if I have time before the infants start throwing water around!

I agree although I cannot imagine a 'catastrophic event'... I might add some weight to 'pilot suicide' by saying it could have been a form of protest by the flight crew and just flying into the horizon for some hours, hoping the aircraft would never be found is how they decided to do it. If you need to travel urgently but your passport is not available, you should still contact the nearest Consular Assistance team at the British Embassy Bangkok In certain circumstances Consular staff may be able to issue an Emergency Travel Document but this is not a substitute for a full UK passport.
