Depends on usage, normally number of flights in a year to qualify and/or retain tier levels. You can have a lot of miles in your balance but you will lose silver if you don't buy any qualifying fares for a while. Mileage tickets do not count.

I also read that they were looking for an opportunity to reduce flights as the budget carriers are really eating into them on the Sing-Bankok route. The budget carriers have some good fares later in the month so they must have reduced load too. Selfish I know but tourists are spoiling this place!

No, it is a sometimes event. Is it possible a cache is also held by my ISP? I looked in my DNS cache and the URL4SHORT.INFO is in there but I don't see anything for FLB. Flushed it anyhow....

I come in 2 ways.... sometimes I open a new tab, and there are some quick access links that are never a problem. Another is my Yahoo homepage, where I have a FLB bookmark.... which gives me the intermittent redirect. It would seem odd that a cached copy of my homepage would contain the redirect unless Yahoo did too. (Yahoo homepage bookmarks are very confusing to me, I have changed them in the past and the change is not always reflected, even a long time later) I am thinking I am using caches from some other place than my computer????? All above my head.

Yes I saw this from a link on Thai Visa...... Rather a poor presentation when the sample includes someone drunk in a bar, a person with a mental illness, and a sad case in hospital. The guy in the hospital should make a few people consider insurance, if not moderation!!! Plenty of retired Expats (from UK, Oz and many countries), living in the Pattaya area, who are far happier in the warmth and sunshine than watching TV in the UK with the current weather threatening to break the panes.

Perhaps you could try climbing up, and use the available vehicles to come back down? I hope I am remembering the right place....... the vehicle was a frightening and rough ride though. Not much call for skiing accessories in Thailand I think......you should do what I do, last time my Missus suggested such a pilgrimage, I managed to persuade her that she could take the truck and go with a few friends. I am getting too worried of a heart attack in the middle of nowhere due to such extreme effort!

Something to do with either Visa or Mastercard I think. For years I used a foreign ATM card here, as that was where I wanted to get money out-of. At the Aeon machines, just drew 20,000 baht... but as the baht appreciated I was squeezed down and it was apparent my limit was being hit.....( a third currency...not $ or £). So your home bank limit comes into play. I once also had a different (lower) limit on a SCB machine. Sometimes the machine has run low on 1000 baht notes. That foreign ATM facility went away, and now I draw from my Thai account always using the bank's machines. 20kbaht is no problem and I believe by using it multiple times I can get 50k/day.
