    Well I can't say I know much about Canadian food..... But I have eaten 'Indian' in India..... Chinese in China etc etc..... Perhaps if it is eaten in other countries it is not as authentic as you think....... Avoiding a restaurant in Thailand, for example, purely because of which caste is dining there only means you are perhaps not in a cheap place or where the coach parties come. Personally, I would rather eat Indian food in say London, than Delhi. Butcher's Arms, yes, my last meal there was a disappointment, in that respect pub grub in Thailand is becoming like that in the UK.

    I don't know whether the 'stock' has run out, or whether there have been a couple of prices rises, but my recent run to the beer distributor seemed to show a step from last month...... Case of 24x330cc SML is 930 baht. Leo 12x660cc 570 baht. The Leo seem to have been particularly aggressive, sure it was 450 baht/case a few months back!

    I bookmarked it a long time ago when someone else posted it..... in fact I recall having linked it several times. A pity it doesn't include the popular places, ie like the one on Buakhao...TT is it called? As Fat_Controller told us here...., if you have cash, they are the places to go in Pattaya.

    The last time I went (relative in town), it was still free entry..... it was too much!!!!! I was dumbfounded to hear they had initiated an entry charge. It is just so easy, up comes a coach-load who have pre-paid, have no warning it isn't worth it and absolutely no chance of a refund. I always get a good laugh at the Sophon advert where a well known voice about town tells us a visit will help us 'understand Thai culture' as we see a shirtless fat guy wandering around the place on screen!

    Do you always have rice? I can't resist Nan bread and find myself to be overstuffed when I have the saffron or whatever rice too!

    A friend of my Thai lady does an absolutely excellent one... she is Thai 100 % so I don't know where she got the skill from. I even sent the TGF over to try and learn it from her, but too complex and time consuming. Thanks for reminding me, I shall have to drop a few hints, she hasn't sent one over for a while.... I believe she makes a big-load in one go.

    Indian food is quite the thing in the UK and many a Brit can be a critic quite legitimately. An extremely wide variation of styles and quality levels.... and in my opinion, mostly superior to what you would get in Thailand. Can you do a Google Maps link ? The facebook one is inaccessible to me.

    I would like to see 3rd referee opinion on penalty decisions. IE a fast review of recordings..... referees are rarely looking the right way and easily taken in by histrionics. And like you, see punishment for 'diving'...... although sending off some of the bigger miscreants would be a brave referee decision too!
