I didn't realise there were private hire baht buses hanging around there.Just offering an alternative for rush-hour......and those nearer to Klang.

It is food, but I always say Mcd and the like certainly do not qualify as restaurants.

Toppings are included........extra meat/ cheese are the only things that will bump the price. Not familiar with the Diana one, but the one near WS is crap, nowhere to sit!

Their daily lunch special is about 180 baht for a foot long with a small drink. Not sure what the extra-meat, extra cheese option adds.

Seriously..... if I am spotted doing a dash out of the Expats club that's what I had Saturday! It's the chilli sauce... but I love it!

Oh I don't mind a subway sandwich now and again for lunch. Enjoy watching all the attractive girls walk around the old Carrefour Mall as I eat. They are certainly a bit cheap with the meat though! Likely my penchant for bread, which I do miss while in LOS.Back to KFC... I might have one of their sandwiches now and again but always saw their body-parts as a bit disgusting. In Thailand I think some places over-use the oil. When they do eventually change it the old stuff is used by the bug-sellers....in their bikes, it isn't good enough to fry the bugs in! The TGF will make Chicken drumsticks in tempura flour with a hot chilli sauce dip and I really enjoy those....although they exit like a scared flock!

There are usually baht buses at the Nakhonchai Air bus terminal slightly South of the Klang junction, but they will cost you about 200 baht... and may be subject to bus arrivals at that terminal. Nevertheless easier than trying to get a suitcase onto a Jomtiem baht bus full of Russians. If you a re travelling light and staying central there is no problem finding a motorcycle taxi, they hang around at Nerm Plab Wan and the bus station.

I think the heavy rain we had a few weeks back was more unusual for January.Shit, it just started raining now!!!!!

I believe he has recently applied for a visa to Australia where his talents will be appreciated.

Not sure why you are cynical of the guy.....I often got the impression that upgrades were at the whim of the check-in staff and there might be many reasons for a person being upgraded. One might be a snooty Gold Card holder insisting he/she didn't want the seat near the toilet, and the agent preferred to upgrade the person allocated a better seat in Biz to First rather than the awkward one. Or a requirement to position a group together in Biz and Joe tourist being sat in tthe middle. I never get upgraded to First of late... possibly because my carriers don't fly First to/from Manchester. Used to happen to me all the time when I was a frequent BA traveller.

These places run hot and cold, and I must admit I haven't been back for a bit as it isn't on my normal route. I have even stopped ordering fish and chips wherever I end up as all too often I am getting some unknown type of fish that has turned to mush. Goosies at least told me what type of fish was on offer..... now I only have it when I am back in the UK, particularly at Colman's in South Shields.

Yeah I can normally get to the cities, my problems start trying to find the little villages!

It's the only solution, standing room only on baht buses these days.
