I think if you swap it around to 'quality, fresh ingredients' it doesn't sound bad.

Perhaps you need to get out more yourself.He simply said there are many better places in Asia to have a family holiday than Pattaya...quite true, although I would have said in Thailand. The place being packed with Russians, Indians and Koreans doesn't necessarily change the underlying factors.

The keyhole on mine is simply behind the batteries...covered by a plastic panel on the front that just slides off.In your case it sounds like these keys are available to anyone behind reception. I am unsure whether there is a single master key for all the safes in the rooms, I would like to hope not. Hopefully the girls employed at reception are more honest than the 'others' that have access to your room.

I am often waiting at the lights at Sukhumvit/Klang and pedestrians try to cross, but it certainly isn't easy for them.There is an elevated crossover a little North of there but there aren't many of them. She certainly has a point. pedestrians are forced onto the road by various pavement deficiencies and obstructions all over town.....

Well there is most certainly a train-line that runs near Pattaya......although you would have to define 'near' as on the other side of Sukhumvit. Not very many trains either.

Your choice. If you are going to en-cash them all in one go at this end they will give you added security in the interim.It depends if you can get them 'free'....... Inclined to say go with cash and make getting the bank account sorted and the money 'put safely away' a priority on arrival. If you are the type to fall down the aircraft steps into a GGB maybe not.

Perhaps you are suggesting some of the shops like Jen Jitt where a better rate can be had?OP... no problem opening an account here and you can specify an ATM card that can be used outside of Thailand. The 'requirements' to open an account seem to vary from bank to bank, and even branch to branch. Some requiring a non-Imm visa, some a tourist visa, some no visa at all. Kasikorn seems to come well recommended.

Well, actually when I bought it I think there was a sight more baht/£ and hence it looked pretty cheap.And it has a cute Yamaha logo on it. It would be better if there was a brake light connection. I bought it along with the bike, a disc lock and was hoping for a deal.... got 2 free absolutely crappy helmets and a cheap jacket that was way too small.

If someone wants to sell something at a discounted price, that is their 'business'....Misrepresenting the item they are selling is scamming. When Tesco sells me cans of beer on special, or perhaps as a loss leader, I do expect the cans to have beer in them. If they were full of piss I wouldn't say 'it was to be expected as they were too cheap'..... what nonsense.

It may be off topic but important. Don't you know anyone who put money down for an off-plan condo that never got started? I certainly do. I regard off-plan purchasing as a high degree risk one takes in order to secure a favourable price and terms. As for getting back on topic.... see OP........ there is a good second hand market.

So for you if the packaging misrepresents the contents, it is simply a mistake?As you say common-place, I have certainly bought a DVD where the packaging suggested a particular film I wanted to see, but the contents were something different.I have also had DVDs that were un-watcheable, being such poor copies or poor audio quality. In my mind, not fit for the purpose sold. Sure, Pattaya and pirate products it is a case of buyer beware..... but sounds like a scam to me. I just opened a can with a picture of sardines on it, and there was a dead rat in there.... probably a mistake.

They sell back-boxes pretty cheap in Tesco.... I saw them but in the Laem Chabang one, about 900 baht I think it was.The problem is they didn't supply the rack/frame/ metalwork you need to fit on each side of the seat. I got mine fitted where I bought the Yamaha, on Nerm Plab Wan (Soi Muslim), just before the railway line left side heading East, (dealer) about 2400 baht. I am sure many of the bike shops will carry them.

Certainly not for me..........But nice to be sure she hasn't got your suitcase.
