A very, very good post Bigleg. Toys out of pram - not good and very selfish of Mulphy, I hope its down to stress. Lets hope he sees sense and reloads the gun. The forum PL ticks along nicely, its Mulphy's expecations which are too high.

Thanks for posting. Some great photos, hope you had a good day. We went a few years ago, thought it was ok but me and my mate's missus enjoyed it , so well worth it.

Get yourself on NEtflights Now................3rd August to 13august £543 direct with Thai Air...............not sure how long you want to go for so pumpmed in a random 10 day trip
-
Paul, there a much of a muchness, mate, Westeast travel, Netflights, Ebookers or head down to Trailfinders on Corn Street, you'll probably get THAI direct for circa £670, which isn't bad. £500 quid, as Cheshire Tom says, No. Good luck

went to Centara in Feb, superb hotel but pricey. Having said that you pay your money for a reason and its a quality place to stay, so take a look and you can find 42sqm rooms for circa 2700bht per night for a decent 2x double bed room which ain't bad for the three of you.

I'm a Thai Air man myself but have also used EVA who are better. Trailfinders or westeast travel are my agents or try EVA's own website

Bloody good post -
Nice looking bar, I'll drop by later in the year. Looks like a small simple place for a few ales and some food, which is a little off the beaten track. I always like to support bars like these. Good on ya Bushcraft and Fah (she looks very nice too )

In my experience, visiting Horfield Prison in Bristol (don't ask), the non whites are over represented and make up a signiciant number of inmates. In the main they are carribean men or young pakistani men on drugs offences. The West Indians are mainly from Jamaica (born and come here late teens) and the Paki's are born in this country. Work that one out, but in my experience, the prison in Bristol houses a large % of non whites as criminals even though they make up a small % of our local population. Statistics can be manipoulated but my eyesight cannot (to the extent that I am lying)
-
Don't non whites (asian/blacks) make up a significant number of our prison population which equates to an unrepresentitive % of there representation in the UK.............crude view, but could be suggested tht they commit more crimes than the indeginous population and hence, are over populating our prisons??

Have to agree, a cracking response and attitude. Can't you come and help run the place I work MM with that common sense attitude Nothing more to be said on the issue.

Are you pissed? £458 for a direct flight with a quality airline like EVA?? Half the price of your quoted flight with ebookers Get your credit card out and book the flight you prize numpty
-
Dead simple, great re assuring reply. I'm actually looking forward to having a halfway stop and arrival time in BKK of 0750 is pretty good too. Thank You.
-
Thanks for the replies guys, really helpful. just one thing and thsi may sound a bit thick, but when you get off in Bahrian where exactly do you go, is there a sign directing you to forwarding flights or should I just follow the nearest person who I think is BKK bound??
-
I'm on the flight in a few days and always fly direct with either Thai or EVA, however, too pricey for my dates and chose Gulf Air instead. Has anyone flown this journey and if so what was their experience? I would also like to knowhow easy/far it is from departing in Bahriain to get to the departure gate for the second leg onto Bangkok. Any info will be much appreciated (calling CheshireTom!!).
-
Nice work man. He's got to take the Dircet flight with EVA for £428 ain't he??
-
Well, thanks for all the informative posts I've read of yours over the years. Keep the tips coming
-
And with that quote, I wholeheartedly agree. Many of your airline posts are brilliant, where do you get your info from, are you in the trade?
-
Agree with first few words but disagree with final statement as they have always in over 100+ flighst I have booked for myself and friends, been the best on LHR- BKK flights. Don't knock them matey
