The buy/sell spread is not a commission. A commission is a set % for the transaction such as 1% for cashing a traveller's cheque.
-
Here is is hard not to buy a preframed door unless you're a contractor. Preframed doors and wide mouldings are a boon to the home DYI'er.
-
I bring US as well and just withdraw it from my US bank account as others may do. There is no commission to buy US anyway.

I'd think anyone who owns a hotel would have a handyman or know who to call to get one to hire for a small job. Ask one.

Carrying Passport in Thailand!
Grandpollo replied to Bornloser's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
An IDL is a great "official looking" document that you can have as many copies as you want since the only qualification is to buy one. Also here at least you can get a replacement DL for $10 and keep the original for a official document you can lose if you never get it back. That's what I carry in Latin America. -

Or if you'd prefer the word of a Thai lawyer vs. a WAG, see above. -
Carrying Passport in Thailand!

From this week's Stickman column, there is a Bangkok law firm that responds to questions: Question 1: What is the legal requirement for personal identification that a foreign visitor must carry with him in Thailand? When I go out on the town I never take my passport since with all the visas and work permits that I have, it is far too precious a document to casually carry everywhere. Does this place me in violation of the law? And if a passport is needed, then is a photocopy an acceptable substitute? Sunbelt responds: According to the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO): “By law, tourists are expected to carry their passports with them at all times in Thailand. There have been incidents where tourists have been arrested because they were unable to produce their passport.” (See here.) Also, the Irish, French, and Australian Foreign Office/Embassy websites (as well as others) all tell their citizens to carry copies of their passports with them when traveling abroad as a minimum requirement (and often when discussing travel in Thailand specifically). During the institution of Martial Law during and after the 2010 “Red Shirt riots” there were numerous announcements from the Thai Government stating that foreign nationals needed to carry their passports with them for identification. The Thai Police will tell you that the law actually states that everybody in Thailand needs to carry an official document proving their identity. The law doesn't specify a passport for foreign nationals or, as a matter of fact, the Thai National ID Card for Thai citizens so in theory a Thai Driving license, a work permit or a National Identity card should all be considered valid (although you could always be asked to produce your passport later to a Thai Immigration officer). Copies of passports, despite what you may be told, are not official documents and while they are not technically acceptable, in practice they are generally accepted in most instances involving routine checks by the Thai Police. -
That is a great price, only about 1.2 cents. Go for it.

If I'm around you only need 7 X 1 studs
-
Can't you do it? 10 by 8 foot wall is only 8 wall studs, a bit for the floor and ceiling plates and 7 sheets of drywall and a preframed door. 3-4 hours work before paint.

What a doofus more like it. -
Which ain't six months and then the cover will depend on all the other factors. Also is your credit card from Brazil?
-
Banks and credit cards don't offer 6 months of travel coverage. 15 to 30 days, maximum.
-
They seem to be quite cheap vs. the going rate so maybe they are overextended. Did you contact them?

Under the name of FoxAdriano he's been posting the same stupid questions about ladyboys in the Pattaya ladyboy site since 2009. Ergo - troll. Or too stupid to figure it out in 2 1/2 years. I told you the ladyboy aite has a few (more than a few) laughs. -
Whenever you want to buy a computer (and an iPhone is a little one) be wary of the words "in theory".

How many times are you going to ask the same questions? RTFF for Pete's sake then ask in your ONE post. -
If he had a motorhome though, he could get the nurse to drive and examine a dozen or so to and fro. Maybe even drop them off near their homes enroute.

I hear you'll have a hare raising time there.

Assuming our nev here is nev61 over "there" you've all pissed him off and I am not getting my 241 G&T in 2012 I think: It is much regret that some members from I am not sure which forum site have decided that a excellent offer of extended happy hours for them was not good enough. My service staff have been abused by some members and some members have taken it upon themselves to tell others who are not forum members while inside Xzone of the promotion for non members. ( yes I should have expected that) This has caused my service staff to be abused by some customers. In light off these problem caused by some I have decided to prevent anymore issues I need to stop the extended happy hour promotion for fourm members who do not have forum member cards. The white and gold discount cards are being used by many customers and has been very successful. Suggest get one of these cards. I am disappointed that a small number of some has fucked the promotion for all.

Fly on Cathay Pacific next time in first class and you won't experience anything as weak as this.
-
You also get a discount on the rear row love seats of 100 Baht per person. Given that TG's love to see the most horrible movies made, like Zookeeper and the Twilight movies, use the strategy of the discount vs. paying for the cheap seats, then when you get the love seat and a blanket you can snooze if awful and grope under the blanket a bit as well.

What does the website where you did all this say? It should be fairly clear what they expect. Usually anyone arriving needs a visa unless they are a resident or exempt. And their own passport usually.
