I've seen him once in Secrets but never did talk to him,I hear he is thought of highly by the ex-pat crowd but not so much by the Thai police.I always did enjoy his comments on Secret web site,seems pretty down to earth type.I still don't comprehend on what happen at Secrets when he got arrested a few years ago?

Was checking Pattaya Secrets web site this morning and was told that the dominion was for sale and not available at this time for viewing,Did anyone else have this problem?

Isn't everybody kinda hurting now,except the Thai go-go girls w/ their 3000 baht L/T and bar owners w/ their 1000 baht bar fines and drink increases.Let's see how this play's out this coming year and see who comes out on top.

I remember reading an article about American tourist's that started traveling right after WW 2,around the late 50's,lot of ex-GI's went to France,Japan w/ there family's an the french just hated us and the term "The Ugly American"was started from the way different nationalities saw us thru their eyes.

Good to see larry back in action,I saw him working in 2010,the last time I was in Secret's bar but didn't talk to him,was kinda shocked when he got arrested an he had to lay low for over a year,lucky he wasn't deported over that incident.

I've been around Asians for 43 years now,sometimes you have to be pushy an rude with them or they just run you over,its there culture where you have millions of them lving in close quarters,they learn to push an shove at an early age to get there scraps and follows into adult age,not all,but a big % do.

I don't think anybody from Google does that ,I bet some one connceted W/ the FL bar posted something an Google picked up on it.

Interesting post and comments but why would any of us care,I don't associate with scum bags,drug dealers,scammers,con men,Russian's or most European's,they don't do anything for me,I stay in Chang Rai area an my few friends are all honest an the Thai's I have to deal with,I do with reservation.

In yesterday's readers submission's in Stickman's web site,Dean Barrett,the author,posted a real good article on the Bars,an the characters that frequented these places,if was a fitting obituary to an niche area of Bangkok frequented by ex-pats. Bangkok and Thailand are changing everyday and for us old timers who have a love,hate realtionship with the place it was a trip down memory lane.

I was in a motorcycle gang when I was young and stupid and just got home from Vietnam,when I got old I quit being stupid and started acting like an adult,I can still ride a bike but do it for fun and want nothing to do with pathetic idiots while I'm in Thiailand let alone wear colors,if I ran into these clowns I would take their jackets away from all of them and make them duck walk out of the bar ,quacking like a duck.
