Hi Evil, I also was their Saturday watching the sports and having a chat with Steve one of the owners. I always welcome your reports on food. I suppose if you had known Steve was just there you could have had a word about the meal as I always find him approachable and eager to make sure the place is working at it's best. This last visit I visited the bar many times as I have over many years and had a feed or two and have got to admit have noticed a quite subtle change in the quality of service. There seems to be a big turnover in staff however I noticed the cook was the usual one. Food took qu

I find it difficult to believe. QATAR and a number of middle east countries have signed up as being against ISIS. QATAR also swims against the tide as far as ISIS beliefs are concerned. Unlike Royal Brunei QATAR airlines has alcohol on it's flight and in QATAR alcohol is accepted. However maybe I am bias, am flying to UK with them next year

Mates and I stayed at the Sabai Wing in June this year for 2 weeks. I was asked for credit card as usual and for my ladies card and signature so she could sign for anything she ordered. Found the rooms with Balcony well appointed and quite large 2 bottles of water free everyday but they were slack if you didn't drink 2 they didn't give you 2. Mini Bar was reasonably priced. I left everything out computer phone and no probs. In room safe was good. Laundry put in before 11am and you got it the same day. 200bht for GF or LT to have breakfast no joiner fee even for 2.

I try and keep my budget to $aud100 a day. At the moment I can get 3200bht for the ozzie $. My main costs are LT's as I really like LT's you can have one at night and another shag in the morning. Always BG's at 300 BF and 1000 LT. Then golf at around 1700bht every 2nd day So on average I have around 1500bht for drinks and food a day. San Mighuel Light 80bht x 10 breakfast 100bht lunch 100bht dinner 100bht This does not include accommodation which I get for 1000bht pn which I pay at the end of my stay with VISA.

Have you ever been stopped by Customs coming INTO Thailand ?
Ularu replied to chatkeow's topic in Idle Chit Chat
Never in bangkok 10 visits -
I took the advice once about having your money in different pockets as this would confuse them. But with all the pockets in these cargo shorts it just confused me especially when i got pissed, which was quite often.

Ularu replied to PattayaPete's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
Always the 1st place I visit when in Patts change in menu good idea I always enjoy trying something different. Last June me and 2 friends had dinner there we all had separate dishes and shared a Pad Thai next day we all had the runs and slight stomach pains. I was quite surprised as I have never had a bad meal there. But will be there again in November and have a chat with Wi and Oot -

I find the results difficult to believe. I have only been to Patts 4 times but I cannot believe the amount of Ozzies I have run into. I sit at a bar and automaticaly say gidday and get a gidday straight back. I am having a foot massage and the guy on my left is from Perth Oz and the one on me right is from Melbourne Oz WTF. I roll into a bar on Beach Rd order a drink and a bloke hears me and says gidday he's from Sydney I jump in the pool at the hotel 3 blokes in there all army dudes fro Queensland on leave fron Afghanistan Went over in November to play golf half t

Whats Your Favourite Part of your trip
Ularu replied to MCCREADY8's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Seeing my name on the card of Mr T's driver at the Airport Handing over my suitcase to him whilst I grab some drinks for the trip. Booking into the hotel having a shower changing and heading out alone to anywhere I want Heaven -
I visit the PBG every time I'm in Patts. Have got to know OOT & WI on the day shift well, also the the guys and girls on night shift I love the place the staff always have a friendly smile for you and remember your name. Yes there is a lot of banter between staff but all you have to do is catch their eye and there's a beer in front of you. Food is always good, and you can be ensured that the check bin is not padded.

So, Is Pattaya Better for you, Worse, or the same?
Ularu replied to Barrief's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
PBG one of my best haunts say hello to Wi and OOT for me. I have only been to Patts 3 times, but each time I learn more about the place and meet more great people. Even after only 3 trips I tend to agree that things are not the same as my 1st trip but I think thats always the case. I cannot forget when I,m home the feeling of sitting in the PBG and watching the sea and perving on the waitresses. Then maybe waiting for the freelancers to roll in and playin mind games with them. I still work and my pay is adjusted up twice a year, so aint to bad off. The ozy$ 29b pretty good I like my -
