SamBinliner Posted on Oct 11 2004, 04:52 AM SamBinliner, Thanks Scotland for inventing golf. You also invented Kilts. We American's choose to improve on then one good idea the Scott's had. . . golf. We've made golf into one of the greatest games worldwide but only after adding corrections to a reasonable beginning to the rules. Now, the USGA rules are recognized around the world as the standard rules to the game of golf. We also made vast improvements to golf equipment, golf accessories, golf balls, the rules, proper dress code, (not Kilts) and on infinitum. As far as your Scottish Kilts we will leave that alone for the amusement of our lady folks. . . trying to peek under them. The Scotts had a great idea it just too bad they didn't have the ability to expand and improve it to the standards as we Americans. As far as smoking out the masked man using Silk Cut Silver 200's our security forces already in place in Pattaya, Thailand and throughout LOS have employed and trained many Soi dogs to assist in sniffing out FART's (and SBD's) everywhere. So, beware we will find, seek you out, interoragate, and bring you to justice. You may be able to run but you can't hide. Cheers Just 21 days 33 minutes and 35 seconds then wheels-up and off to LOS, Thailand. . .but who's counting? Regards, ff29 and The Cash Cow & thumper^

F.A.R.T. WE LAUGH AT U YANKEES, FART Free All Rideher Trophys SamBinliner The Great Sam Bin Torrence. He is a god. . . Not! He may be a god from your land The Great Sam Bin Torrence but he isn’t crap from where we come from. In my humble opinion he is a non-threat to Team USA being no more than a mere FART in an open desert sand storm and will fade away rapidly. Regarding the RideHer Cup Trophy, beyond any FART’s wildest dreams, it will be retained and protected by our operatives already infiltrating LOS, Pattaya. Currently our briefing reports indicate our operatives are hot on the trail of those who dare try to disrupt Team USA form retaining possession of this coveted, world traveled, and sometime abused RideHer Cup Trophy. Our USA operatives are seeing to it that the trophy will never again be in the hands of masked hooligans claiming to be follower’s of orders given by Sam Bin Torrance or FART’s. As for the masked man, we have our operatives smoking him out at this very moment using Silk Cut Silver 200’s to expose him and his current location and bring him to justice for his involvement in this most scandalous crime and attempted take back or takeover of The RideHer Cup Trophy. With one hand or leg tie behind her back Team USA’s secret weapon will defeat any and all opponents you present to her aka The C.A.S.H. C.O.W = Can Always Swing Hard & is a Consistently Omnipotent Winner. (Omnipotent Translation: ALMIGHTY, ALL POWERFUL, GODDESS LIKE, and etc). On the intercontinental plane trip over the Pacific Ocean and more in route Thailand, ff29 and thumper^ are charged with a major responsibility. . . the keep The Cash Cow healthy and ready for tournament action. We will not allow her to drink any water served from water pitchers (ONLY sealed bottled water), no airplane coffee, and nothing with ice cubes on the airplane. We are well aware that attempts may be made again this year to disable and hospitalize her again this year. Don't get your hopes up you FARTs. She will be escorted by deep and highly trained security force this year that know how to handle and sniff out FARTs and specialize in S.B.D.'s (silent but deadly) farts. Also, in a recent investigation it has been discovered that 20% of all planes on either domestic or international flights these items were contaminated with e coli bacteria. As for ff29 and thumper^ they are just along to see to the CASH COW’s every beckoning need as well as her wants. . . all four or five utters are satisfied. As the say goes, “When the CASH COW is happy the world is happy. . . or something like that?†So, fair warning to The Great Sam Bin Torrence and all his FART’s we are coming to get you and bring you to justice! You can run but you can’t hide, forever. See you all, old and new players, at the RideHer Cup III. . . no FARTing will be allowed nor will be tolerated during tournament play! Just 22 days 13 hours 8 minutes and 3 seconds then wheels-up and off to LOS, Thailand. . . but who’s counting? Regards, ff29 also The Cash Cow and thumper^

The Hereafter? A couple made a deal that whoever died first would come back and inform the other of the afterlife. Their biggest fear was that there was no afterlife. After a long life, the husband was the first to go and true to his word, he made contact. "Mary ..... Mary" !! "Is that you, Joe?" "Yes, I've come back like we agreed." "What's it like?" "Well, I get up in the morning, I have sex. I have breakfast and off to the golf course and I have sex. I bathe in the sun, then I have sex twice. I have lunch, another romp around the golf course, then sex pretty much all afternoon. After supper, golf course again. Then I have sex until late at night. The next day, it starts again." "Oh, Joe, you surely must be in Heaven". "Not exactly, I'm a rabbit on the golf course at Leam Chabang." Close but no cigar. Did I mention GPS guided golf balls. That might work for those of us who get off track. Only $200 USD each or $1,999 USD for a box of a dozen. Put in your orders now and we can bring them along with us when we pick up Hilly's smokes. No exta charge for all my friends in Thailand for transportation. Hope this helps you guys out a little bit. Just 38 day 16 hours 40 minutes 8 seconds then wheels-up and off to LOS, Thailand. . .but who's counting? Regards, ff29 PS They are programable from a 390 yard drive down to a mere 3 foot putt.

Hilly, IMHO, I would suggest a few lessons from a USGA golf pro or equivalent and have him or her straighten out your swing mechanics. Then have him or her suggest a set and style of golf clubs suited to you and your skill level. Worked wonders for my wife’s game. However, one further suggestion: Don't go until after the RideHer Cup III. It sounds like to me your in great form for the event from my point of view. See you and AM in Pattaya soon. BTW, Hilly, it is most likely you and not so much you're clubs. Lessons really do help one to correct their errors. As for the pros, it's said they can pick up a set of rental clubs at the course and shoot scratch golf or less without a problem. Of course we're (I'm) not a pro and just go out to play and have a good time. . . like in the RideHer Cup III. Hi wobbly_1, I have a set a Callaway X16 Pros w/True Temper Sensicore Shafts and I've played the knockoffs. When you first play new knockoffs they seem pretty good but after a number of rounds they seem to go flat or dead. Also, most major manufactures of quality clubs give a good warranty (Callaway's warranty is LIFE TIME REPLACEMENT) which is hard to beat if you need to use it. But, IMHO, if you're set on a name brand set of clubs i.e. Callaway, Nike, etc., then I'd shop for name brands on the Internet and even consider a quality used set to be even better than a cheap knockoff set. stoace, My experience in trying to purchase discounted golf clubs in Pattaya, Thailand at the various shopping malls (Mike Mall, The Big C, etc.) I found the prices to be higher than at local discount outlets in the USA. I would suggest searching the WWW for the best deals with shipping and no taxes. DHK Discount Golf The above link is one example of what is out there. I bought a set in the USA and left them in Pattaya, Thialand so I didn't have to haul them back and forth. At the above site Nike Slingshots in Graphite Shafts are $639 USD and the Steel Shafts are $549 USD. I don't know how that compares to prices where you live but I can bet that is higher in Pattaya, Thailand. Good luck on finding the best price. Hi Hilly, Sorry to hear you had such a bad time at Laem Chabang International Country Club. Now with the pond water so high do to your ball dunking and all those pot holes you created in the fairways I guess I will have to pass playing that once wonderful prestine golf course. As I said in another post on the RideHer Cup III: I guess by your own account I was correct. But as they say, whoever they are, time will tell. Cheryl and I will keep our eyes open at the duty free stores for your smokes. Looking forward to seeing you and AM again this trip. Take care and do not pratice to much it will throw your game off. Hi Allan and Eurpeans, Congratulations, Cheers, and all that rot on winning the Ryder Cup in Detroit, MI - USA. Too bad we only sent USA's B Team! But fair warning is in order to all of you on Team Europe. . .the USA is going to have the A Team playing in LOS - Thailand in the FLB's RideHer Cup III. We're working very hard at keeping USA's secret weapon good and healthy this year. As was mentioned in another post Europe's Team only has one chance to counter USA's secret weapon and that is AM but unfortunately she is off-set by Hilly. Hope to see all the old gang and the newbies at the best International Golf Tournament in the World. . .The RideHer Cup III 2004. See you all there. Just wondering as it was not mentioned at the begining of this thread. . . Where is the RideHer Cup III being held at this yead. I heard it was being planned to be held at the Robert Trent Jones Jr course Eastern Star in Rayong? Is this where we are playing this year and if not where? Curious minds want to know. 59 days 14 hours 9 minutes6 seconds before wheels-up and off to LOS, Thailand. Regards, ff28

Hi Everyone, Cheryl and I will be there again this year for The RideHer Cup III to help represent Team USA. Hopefully, Cheryl will make it to the game this year and not end up in the Hospital again. . . even if it was a great hospital. The Pattaya International Hospital on Soi # 5 and Second Road is the best and thanks to Hilly, AM, and the Hospital Staff my wife, Cheryl, got great treatment and at a reasonable price. Also, I have got to say the staff at The Residence Garden hotel where we stayed provided extra special care and attention during her illness before and after her stint in the hospital. . .The Residence Garden is a great place to stay. I am confident that Team USA will make it 2 for Team USA and still (the controversial) 1 for Team Europe. As everyone knows Team Europe had several plants placed on Team USA in The RideHer Cup I and doing so they may have swung the odds in their favor giving them the win?? I know if Team USA’s secret weapon plays this year, and is not hospitalized again, the only chance that Team Europe will have is AM but Mr. Hilly will offset that advantage. And of course Doggie with his knickers always around his ankles (can't hit is ball past the ladies tee box) will help to drag Team Europe down, too. LOL Cheryl and I are both looking forward to seeing all of you again this year for the greatest International Golf Tournament in the world The RideHer Cup III. Everyone please check your guns at the door and have a great time enjoying the golf. I will be more than happy to buy a few pints of ale for Team Europe player at the rules meeting on the Sunday night before the golf tournament. Top Ten Things that Sound Dirty in GOLF but aren't: -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 10. Nuts...my shaft is bent 9. After 18 holes I can barely walk 8. You really whacked the hell out of that sucker 7. Look at the size of his putter 6. Keep your head down and spread your legs a bit more 5. Mind if I join your threesome? 4. Stand with your back turned and drop it 3. My hands are so sweaty I can't get a good grip 2. Nice stroke, but your follow through has a lot to be desired And the number 1 thing that sounds dirty in golf but isn't: 1. Hold up...I need to wash my balls first

Hi Everyone, November is a good month for Cheryl and I. We plan to stay a month again this year if all goes well. I already have my clubs in Pattaya now all I have to do is join up with them for RideHer Cup III. On the back nine last year, our match came down for us to the last shot on the last hole only for me to get beat by one stroke. That is what I call great fun and I think everyone had a great time from what I saw there. Ben and Callum did a great job putting everthing together. I'm sure this year will be even better than last year, if that's possible. Keep the, "Do Over Mulligan," which I had fun with on the last hole. It was great. I hope Ben and the crew can get us booked at the Eastern Star in Rayong this year. They've done a great upgrade on the course and it is always fun to play on a Robert Trent Jones Jr. golf course. They also have a very nice club house for lunch etc. I would have to say this GC is almost on par with Laem Chabang and in some respects even better. Go get um Carlsberg and Doggie, I know you can do it. Also, if I remember correctly the prices there were very reasonable. Should work out as far as keeping the price the same a last year. It was really a great time last year and maybe I can keep my wife out of the hospital this year so she can enjoy the tournment this year, too. One of the main reason she wanted to go to Pattaya, was to play in the the RideHer Cup II after I told her about how much fun playing in the first one was. Will be off to Thailand and LOS in: :crying 215 days 2 hrs 28 mins and 10 secs and Wheels Up. . .But Who’s Counting? :crying Regards, ff29 I Love The FLB Bar!

Posted by: Blazer Posted on: Today at 18:12:12 Hi Blazer: Most defiantly get a hard-shell case. I've been there three time and have had no problem with checking my clubs and getting to and from Bangkok. The last time I was there in Oct - Nov 2003 I bought a cheaper set of golf clubs and had and old bag that I stuffed them into then left them in Pattaya. The last trip I didn't bring my expensive set of clubs but instead T-Zoid knock-offs. I just took and old hard plastic bucket put it over the club heads and then placed the rain cover over that and some duct tape around. The clubs arrived in good shape and just covering the heads with the hard plastic bucket worked just fine. Just a thought if you want to try and save some bucks on a hard-shell case. If you do purchase a hard-shell case make sure to buy a hinged one that opens like a suitcase and not a two piece type where one piece fits over one another. I've used both and the slide over one doesn’t work very well in transport. It came apart in transit and some golf balls and other items had fallen out. It's cheaper than a hinged one but not worth the hassle. Hope these comments help you out. Have a great trip and enjoy your golfing. Be sure to buy a Pattaya Sports Club Card (just ask when you get there) if you plan to play more than 3 or 4 rounds of golf. You'll save enough on your first round of golf to pay for itself and the rest is gravy. You also get discounts at a number of other places plus the profits for the Sports Club Card go to charity. Enjoy! [smiley=cheers.gif] Cheers! Will be off to Thailand and LOS in: [smiley=crying.gif] 312 days 17 hrs 4 mins and 11 secs and Wheels Up. . .But Who’s Counting? CUP 2003 A GREAT DAY, BAD RESULT! (part2)
ff29 replied to duece's topic in RideHer Cup Planning and Discussion
Hi Everyone: It is in my opinion that the RideHer has been won, fair and square, by the rightful victors, as it should be, Team USA! Now I have just a little question, "Does anyone have a clue where the little prized trophy is at the present time?" I know Joop ran off with it last year but on good information he was tied-up this year in some sort of knot? Well, at least someone said he was, "Tying the knot," or something like that. Maybe one of his "Operatives" was at the post game party at the FLB Bar and made off with it again, gave it to Joop, and it's off again on a world tour? I think maybe Paul was there and he may have left with "someone" hiding under his shirt? Oh well, if anyone has information as to the whereabouts of the coveted RideHer Cup Trophy please advise of its whereabouts at this time? I worry about the poor little guy. I wasn't able to attend the great post game party as most of you already know due to my wife ending up in the Pattaya International Hospital that evening due to her acute illness. My and Mrs ff29's many thanks to Hilly and AM for the ride to and suggestion of a hospital in Pattaya. My wife and I were directed to the very best hospital she or I have ever been in as far as treatment and services provided. Thanks again to Hilly and AM for their help. Sorry guys that your team lost the tournament this year but there is always next year. Hopefully Mrs ff29 will be able to play in the RideHer Cup 2004! It was really a great time had by all at this year's RideHer Cup 2003 or at least what I saw of the game. And I must add that Ben and the FLB Bar really did a bang up job this year and I only look forward to next years 2004 games will be even better. I have a little inside information on the subject as a little bird or actually a rather large old bird whispered in my ear some plans for next year's competition. I hope my fair feathered friend's information pans out because it will be an even greater golfing event next year and better than this year. . .if that's possible. God willing, we'll see you all again in 2004 or maybe some even sooner. Cheers to all. I hope next year [smiley=yikes.gif] Hilly, Ian, Matt, (and I think) Ben [smiley=yikes.gif] can hit their drives passed the ladies tee box at the next RideHer Cup and keep their britches on? It's so hard to hit your golf ball with your balls dangling and just flopping around. It really gets in the way of your [smiley=Eyecrazy.gif] back-swing and your follow-through. [smiley=Eyecrazy.gif] Off to Thailand and the LOS in: [smiley=crying.gif]325 days 5 hr's 55 min's 4 sec's and wheels-up. . .But Who's Counting?[smiley=crying.gif] Regards, [smiley=devil.gif] ff29 [smiley=1luvu.gif] [smiley=1luvu.gif] [smiley=1luvu.gif] [smiley=1luvu.gif] [smiley=1luvu.gif] [smiley=1luvu.gif] [glow=red,2,300] "I LOVE THE FLB BAR." Thanks for taking part just the same and BTW for those of you that missed the RideHer Cup 2003 it was a really great time and much fun was had by all. Thanks Ben and Mac for all that was done to make this years Cup even better than last years. Leaving Thailand and the LOS in: 5 days 0 hr's 32 min's 35 sec's and wheels-up. . .Maybe the plane will be delayed for a short-time or long-time?? How did we survive? Life was sure different. . . in days gone by. Hope you're having a great day. My mom used to cut chicken, chop eggs and spread mayo on the same cutting board with the same knife and no bleach, but we didn't seem to get food poisoning. My Mom used to defrost hamburger on the counter AND I used to eat it raw sometimes too, but I can't remember getting E-coli. Almost all of us would have rather gone swimming in the lake instead of a pristine pool (talk about boring). The term cell phone would have conjured up a phone in a jail cell, and a pager was the school PA system. We all took gym, not PE... and risked permanent injury with a pair of high top Ked's (only worn in gym) instead of having cross-training athletic shoes with air cushion soles and built in light reflectors. I can't recall any injuries but they must have happened because they tell us how much safer we are now. Flunking gym was not an option... even for stupid kids! I guess PE must be much harder than gym. Every year, someone taught the whole school a lesson by running in the halls with leather soles on linoleum tile and hitting the wet spot. How much better off would we be today if we only knew we could have sued the school system. Speaking of school, we all said prayers and sang the national anthem and staying in detention after school caught all sorts of negative attention. We must have had horribly damaged psyches. I can't understand it. Schools didn't offer 14 year olds an abortion or condoms (we wouldn't have known what either was anyway) but they did give us a couple of baby aspirin and cough syrup if we started getting the sniffles. What an archaic health system we had then. Remember school nurses? Ours wore a hat and everything. I thought that I was supposed to accomplish something before I was allowed to be proud of myself. I just can't recall how bored we were without computers, PlayStation, Nintendo, X-box or 270 digital cable stations. I must be repressing that memory as I try to rationalize through the denial of the dangers could have befallen us as we trekked off each day about a mile down the road to some guy's vacant 20, built forts out of branches and pieces of plywood, made trails, and fought over who got to be the Lone Ranger. What was that property owner thinking, letting us play on that lot? He should have been locked up for not putting up a fence around the property, complete with a self-closing gate and an infrared intruder alarm. Oh yeah... and where was the Benadryl and sterilization kit when I got that bee sting? I could have been killed! We played king of the hill on piles of gravel left on vacant construction sites and when we got hurt, Mom pulled out the 48 cent bottle of Mercurochrome and then we got our butt spanked. Now it's a trip to the emergency room, followed by a 10-day dose of a $49 bottle of antibiotics and then Mom calls the attorney to sue the contractor for leaving a horribly vicious pile of gravel where it was such a threat. We didn't act up at the neighbor's house either because if we did, we got our butt spanked (physical abuse) here too ... and then we got butt spanked again when we got home. Mom invited the door to door salesman inside for coffee, kids choked down the dust from the gravel driveway while playing with Tonka trucks (Remember why Tonka trucks were made tough...it wasn't so that they could take the rough Berber in the family room), and Dad drove a car with leaded gas. Our music had to be left inside when we went out to play and I am sure that I nearly exhausted my imagination a couple of times when we went on two week vacations. I should probably sue the folks now for the danger they put us in when we all slept in campgrounds in the family tent. Summers were spent behind the push lawn mower and I didn't even know that mowers came with motors until I was 13 and we got one without an automatic blade-stop or an auto-drive. How sick were my parents? Of course my parents weren't the only psychos. I recall Donny Reynolds from next door coming over and doing his tricks on the front stoop just before he fell off. Little did his Mom know that she could have owned our house. Instead she picked him up and swatted him for being such a goof. It was a neighborhood run amuck. To top it off, not a single person I knew had ever been told that they were from a dysfunctional family. How could we possibly have known that? We needed to get into group therapy and anger management classes? We were obviously so duped by so many societal ills, that we didn't even notice that the entire country wasn't taking Prozac! [smiley=thumbup.gif] Great News! [smiley=thumbup.gif] A.M. is playing in the RideHer Cup 2003. Mrs. ff29 will be happy to hear the good news that she won't be the only lady playing this year's Cup game. It will be great to see the gang again for this most prestigeous event of the year hosted by the FLB Bar. There might be "copy cat" golfing events out there but there's only one. . . [glow=red,2,300]"RideHer Cup" [/glow] and that's the one from the FLB Bar. . . and that's a fact. Off to Thailand and the LOS in: 3 days 13 hr's 27 min's 32 sec's and wheels-up. . .But who's counting?
