Through my Android Box and Kodi I'm still catching up on and binge watching some classics like 'Smiley's People' There's usually one thing a day to watch on TV....... Rounds the day off nicely. Just finished the pilot of a new TV series called 'Taken'.......Not the film and not resembling it in plot terms yet....Apart from the lead having a particular set of skills that makes him a nightmare for the baddies. Action adventure......a few twists and quite exciting. Sort of thing I like.

There's a new (for me), Sunday roast in town. Corner Bar Rumpol Market. I'd forgone breakfast and had attacked the meal before I thought I should take a photo of this......So missed opportunity. Lamb 250 bt. The owner comes over to see if it was OK. I said, 'Best free meal I've had' Puzzled look.... I explained, 'My usual roast is 199 bt.........But this is at least 250 bt better!!' Confused logic I know.........But well meaning. Delicious and despite missing breakfast and spending the morning exercising .......and by then bloody 'Hank Marvin' I couldn't finish. If you live in Jomtien it's worth giving it a try. Next time I go I'll try to remember to take a snap.

Legion I'm struggling with..... hard for me to look at the leading man and not think about Downton Abbey..... that's despite amazing weight loss and a good stab at an American accent.....Still I think it's ok.

I slightly favored The Patriots..... afterBennet's fourth sack and with about10 mins to go I thought I'd nip out for a massage and shag..... Last week after Federer lost the opening game and his serve in the 5th set I thought I can't watch the obsessive one beat him so..... I went out. Sport is not predictable even with 10 mins and a record score to overhaul... Lesson learned!

Forgive the mixed intentions behind this post....... Tom Brady is a genius. To have the composure under intense 'sacking' pressure to find, with instant calculations the correct trajectory, weight and speed of pass .....to find the coded call's 'free man', or in many cases giving a marked teammate an advantage of inches to catch a ball thrown 30 yards. It's a rehearsed skill.......thousands of hours spent in it's fluid perfection and the team's movement...... so that on the day, under the dread weight of competition the QB throws the win ..not the game away. We know both happen........Because this is real. Ms Streep writes this all off with a shrug as being in some way lesser, lower......'thicker' low-brow entertainment when compared with the talents of herself and her peers in Hollywood. OK she can assume other personalities........She can shout at a camera.......She can keep tears on standby........and hear a comforting, 'Cut' when she fluffs her lines..........Because Hollywood is fake. We have to go along with the lie and suspend our disbelief to enjoy..(and we do) it's output. She's deserves her applause.........So do top sportsmen like Tom Brady.

Forgot about this thread Although my box lets me watch things like Sherlock and Taboo live I prefer to watch on my time next day. The only live stuff I'll stay up for is the sport or 'PMQs' (same thing really). Love my box .... never did find Ron Tin Tin.... But Callan and Danger man don't disappoint.
