Hummm... Maybe you should update your LD limit, dear Gabor, now that we have new hight season prices in most places. Seriously, where can you find LD at 110 baht or less nowadays ? Exit all "upper class" agogos; exit Happy group; exit Shark group; exit Soi 15; exit Soi 16; exit most of Soi Diamond; ... In this range I only see SweatHeart, Nui's, Diamond, Airport (!) and a few others like Hots Girls or Champion or ...? Don't expect better in Soi LK area; The correct ones - Champagne & Oasis - or over 110 baht too. Yes, 2012 hight prices already

You could have a big bad surprise too if one day you have to use it. You will probably discover - but too late - that the one you bought is just a toy! Most of those you find in tourist markets looks like Taser but are bad imitation that do not generate the same high voltage. What you get is just a small electric shock, like the one of an electric fence for horses. I already saw street sellers playing with them trying to touch each other with these "taser"...

True. It's a temporary situation for "a few months". These shop were from the main part of the "Made in Thailand" market on 2nd Rd. This part as been destroyed and they are now making a new big building for this market. They will return in "Made in Thailand" ASAP. I am not arguing. I replied because you quoted me to talk about comparisons I didn't make. I do know about huge floods in other parts of Thailand. Very sad. Hi Gabor. All reports are more or less unfair. A bad or average agogo will one day become a good one for someone just because it now got a lady that he likes , and will become average again if/when she moves... As for myself I compare with the agogos I used to go : Fahrenheit, Shark, Baccara, Sapphire. The "snobbish bars" to me are the ones like Iron, Airport, What's Up and I very rarely visit them. Oh yes! I forget to mention yet this other good point in favor of Sugar Sugar: no bad tobacco smell inside. . The smell and "fog" in Champagne is very unpleasant...

Were you in Pattaya the 11 of September? What are you talking about? I just observed from my place that Pattaya Tai was under water (and latter that 2nd Rd traffic was nearly stopped). Now waiting for "the hungarian girlfriend" pictures...

Hi. My friend has go back home now and as I am not sleepy I decided to make a small report right now, with fresh memory. So many posts recently "to the glory of Soi LK agogos" that I decided to make myself a new visit of the area. I first made a global visit of the Soi. Very quick and easy: the Soi is barely 200m long. At 8:30pm it was very quiet, but probably a little bit too early? Many bars, and many ladies waiting for customers but not one attractive enough (for me) to make me stop there. So I tried a few agogos : Edit: I first mention that my "type of girl" is rather thin, petite (small/short) and around 20-22 yo. A flat stomach is my main criterion; a very selective one at Pattaya! Some members can think that I am very demanding, but as long as I will find such ladies I will not change my criteria, and until today I often find ones. Kiss & Submarine agogos: I skipped. Really to bad in my last visit and in recent reports. Office: 4 customers inside. A few ladies with customers; a few ones siting near the DJ; many others in their back area where we can't see them. 5 ladies dancing standing on the central stage. I don't know their age but surely most are 30 yo+ and I would not be surprised is some of them are 40 yo... Can be a place for you if you like large (but not fat) ladies (not girls). I anyway spotted one coyote with flat stomach and long nice legs, but clearly not in a fun mood. Not a place were I will come back soon. Champagne: Very different. About 2/3 full of customers, but looks like a place where guys come in small groups of 2 or 3 to talk to each others and drink cheap drinks in a special environment. Not many customers seem interested in girls company, let alone in barfine. Line up is pleasant. Nothing to do with Kiss or Submarine. No small/short ladies, no really young ones, but several nice "standard" ladies that certainly must often get BFed in this Soi. A few ones who like McDo too much but a few thin ones too . Problem is that with so many customers, ladies that I spotted already had a customer + ladydrink... PS: Only 1 lady change at each song on the main stage. So you would have to stay a very very long time if you want see all ladies. (I rarely choose a lady who sits because you can't see well her body). MASH: An evident lake of ladies, and of customers. 5 ladies on the central stage. 4 behind the entrance door and... 2 who look rather nice and young but who stayed chatting together the whole time I was there, and who clearly were not interested by the present customers... including myself. . They have 2 older ladies with horrible stretch marks. Not their fault, but I will never understand that some agogo hire them as agogo dancer Sugar Sugar: Nice surprise . The best line up I saw this night is Soi LK area. Many slim ladies; many flat stomaches; and not one "miss jumbo" in view. Only 5 customers when I entered but 15 minutes later at least 15. About 20 dancers and a 10 hostesses, + the ones outside. Ladies dance by groups of 6 or 7 on a central stage. The agogo is new, nice, confortable. But is it an agogo? (see discussion with MM on page 2). This night the most common outfit was the "school girl" uniform. A white top or white knotted shirt, a mini-skirt (or even mini-mini-skirt ), panties, bra. A few ladies were in large bra + gold short. No nudity (but I left early ~9:20pm). I observed that the long window is still there but with a very very dark glass; you can probably not see much from outside now. It's like a agogo but outfit are more of a coyotes club... So I don't know. PS: Dancers wear a badge with their nickname, their #number and the mention... "coyote"... I got a nice (but too short) time here and certainly will come back. I noticed they have a party this Friday if you like that. Oasis: Nearly 9:30pm but looks short of ladies. Maybe 12. Here no surprise: many ladies target older men... Anyway I saw 2 in the thin category and 2 typical Isaan girls who seem to be very fun ones. Next to me a lady in plain clothes was very attractive, but not sure if she is a dancer or if she came here with a customer. . One of the thin dancers was very tall, topless, buns and kinky eyeglasses. She looks for me more like a Russian lady than a Thai or Isaan one. Attractive... because of the difference? I wonder if she is the one Gabor thought was a ladyboy. Could easily be, but seem she really is a lady. #88, her name is Ann but we didn't find many thing to say to each other... Remarks: - the place is still small. Not so many attractive ladies in absolute. If you did not find "your" lady in visiting your 3 best agogos of Soi LK (because not here or BFed) you will have to find somewhere else with more ladies... - all agogos are small too. I would bet no more than 30 dancers present at one time in each. By comparison Baccara on Walking Street has 100 dancers present most night! (60+ downstairs, 40+ upstairs) - dancers are "ladies" there; I didn't see even one "spinner" (small young happy one) - not cheap; my soft drink in all places (except Sugar Sugar) was 85 baht. Rather expensive for happy-hours. Looks like Soi LK is mainly for alcohol drinkers. On Walking Street I use to pay 45-65 baht my orange juice during happy-hours. - Sugar Sugar is a nice addition; it was the cheapest one too: 65 baht soft drink although no more in happy-hours; a place where I could have take a lady tonight and where I will come back soon . Conclusion: Globally I could probably put Sugar Sugar and Champagne in my Top15 (maybe Top10?) of Pattaya agogos but no way that any agogo of Soi LK area could (today) be in my Top5. Many recent posts looks to me more like advertisements than objective reports. Statement that Champagne is the #1 can only come from someone who never visited Walking Street top agogos Good night

Hi, Looks like we could find Pattaya flooded again tomorrow or even in a few hours. It's raining more or less regularly for a few hours and Pattaya Tai already became again "Pattaya Tai river" Lot of thunder and not any sign that the rain could stop. Just come back from Walking Street and there was 40 cm of water in Soi 14 on 2nd road side. Pattaya Tai sidewalk are under water and many shops have put sand bags again already. Let's wait for tomorrow to see results of this rain...

You can't understand? It's pretty obvious: If they put more light you could see perfectly the ladies/dancers when you enter the agogo, and you would quickly make a U-turn! Someone talk about "the horror story"; yes it's exactly that. Yes, and one of the reasons to not return! I would say "Horror show #2"... Usually yes, but on Tuesday and Friday they sometimes can't turn right in Pattaya Tai and will turn left and return using Third Road... far from Walking Street. Humm... You will be very lucky if you get one that turns in Soi Buakhao Most probably 2 bahtbus = 10x2x2 = 40 baht with you lady of the night

Yes, I agree. This picture if for me a agogo's picture but is very different from what I witnessed! Look like I need to make a visit there to see what's this place become... Did they change something recently? My last (and only) visit was around the 10th of September: all dancers were in mini-short and top-on-bra (coyote clothes); not even one breast to be seen; and a long window on Soi LK side allowing to see top-half of dancers from outside!

For me you must have a minimum of nudity to be an agogo... (Yes I know some exceptions, like SweatHearts, but they are exceptions and usually bikinis)

Don't forget to take earplugs! I just flew from Abu Dhabi on a new Boeing 777-300ER It was a very nice plane, but very very noisy for such a modern plane I was on seat 20E. Don't know for other places.

I made dozen of travels Bkk-Europe-Bkk last years, and 3 already this year, and never had to wait more than maybe 10 minutes at immigration control My last experience is very recent : Today 6:30pm ! I walked to the immigration hall to find it full with queues of maybe 40 or 50 people Quick U-turn and I continued walking to the second immigration hall, about 200m after the first one. Inside only half of desks open, but queues of 2 or 3 persons only... as always . Looks like very few people know about it and then it's nearly always empty. In fact my problem with immigration control at Bangkok is that it's too fast and that every time I must wait a long time for my bag to appear (~15 minutes today) My plane landed at 6:15pm and at 7pm I was in the public bus to Pattaya. (124 baht). I was at home at 8:45pm.

There use to be driving ranges on 3rd Rd. I think there is still one at the Pattaya Nua side of 3rd Road. Any information about it? about price?

It was more than 200 baht; For at least 3 years you did not have to pay if you spend less than 90 units (about 320 baht) (first was 80 units), you paid half-price if you spend between 90 and 180 units (about 640 baht), and you paid normal price if you spend more than 180 units. The change is that now this reduction apply only to those with the lower power contract : 5 Amp / ~1 kW. Most of use have air-cond and at least a 15 or 25 Amp contract : no more reduction. Also there seem to have now a 47 baht fee for those who don't use electricity during one month. No problem about that; I understand that this reduction initially was to help poor people, and we are not. My only remark is that they should have prevent us the month before. It was a big surprise for me to have to pay electricity (the first time in 3 years I own my condo) and I know guys who were not here to pay and had their electricity cut off

AC is mandatory for all VT6 apartments on Walking Street side ! They are facing south-west and are VERY hot in the afternoon. Look at VT6 from beach road: many apartments have a big white external curtain to (try to) protect their terrace from the sun...
