Would you believe it? Artificial Intelligence.

Google is already full of total crap that is AI produced. Don't believe information unless it is cross checked in a few directions.... -

Hi Guys, my brother is coming to LOS in a few months, with me, for the first time. He has just told me he wants to get some veneers on his aging teeth (about 76 yrs). I am aware of some dentists that look after tourists for the tourist dollars, but am open to suggestins about others that will do a good job for a lesser price. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

Maybe that would reduce the number of bikes that clutter up the streets.... -
How many lemon trees have you seen growing in Thailand. It is worth your while to get a plant yourself, if you can find one....

Taxi from Bangkok airport need recommendations

Try Tan's Taxi Service. I prefer to use her services. I have travelled from Pattaya and Bangkok to Korat, Kanchanaburi, Cha Am and Hua Hin and have never had a disappointment. Have a look at her Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/tantaxipattaya/ -
Unsure what you are getting at with the 'vinegar' statement. Vinegar IS the remedy for most jellyfish stings (and is used widely in Australia) but it should not be used on Box Jellyfish (Sea Wasp) stings, as it makes them worse. Maybe I missed the joke....

Mate, I was flying Singapore Airlines and the onboard seat screen has a selection that gives you the connecting flights info., which tells you flight numbers, terminal routes and departure gate for your flight. The gate must have changed after we landed from Sydney. I was lucky in one way - even though I got to the new gate after takeoff time, there was an electrical storm in the Gulf of Thailand and my flight to Bangkok was delayed (as were many others). The sad part is I had to wait for another hour and a half for the flight to go; all of us locked in at the gate....

I know exactly what you are saying. In April, I limped along with my walking stick for the whole length of a terminal without any help, only to find he Departure Gate for my flight had been changed and I had to walk bak halfway again. No help arrived. On the return flights,I didn't have to change terminals, but a lovely lady pulled up in a golf cart and transported me to my Gate.

Not quite understanding; the internal trains in Singapore (Changi) work well - it only takes a matter of seconds between terminals, although it IS a long way between one end of each terminal to the other.

Yes, Bruce, I too will be in Thailand when it starts, up in the jungle, but (sadly) will be going back to Aust. a week or so later. -
Just a heads-up to the board admin

I have already commented on this thread but, a couple of years ago, I received a similar response when I tried my oft dailylog in. I tried a couple of times, but to no avail. I then went right out of the site, Googled 'Pattayatalk', found another link and logged in via that one. I have never had a similar problem since. So, there are glitches that occur occasionally. Such is life. -

I don't know. I just clicked on the link you have on the first line of you post and it took me straight into this forum. Maybe different here, in Australia. -

Fantastic street food selection. Love it. -
There is no way I'll ever fly Jetstar again! I flew direct from Sydney to Phuket and then return from Bangkok to Sydney. It was a nightmare. The return went via Melbourne (J.Star's home) and everybody had to have luggage X-rayed and inspected in Customs, due to some Chinese passengers having illegal foodstuffs. Many of us missed connecting flights (mine to Sydney) and had to wait over 12 hours for the staff to sort out alternate flights. No compensation, no food, and we were all very tired after an all night flight in cramped conditions, with out even water, unless we paid for it. Good luck on your trip. I hate them with a vengeance. Oh, by the way, I booked my next flight to LOS yesterday and, due to high flight fares, I booked to travel with Singapore Air, who had a reasonably good fare, with seat selection on all legs, normal food and drink service included, and only an hour and a half changeover in Changi each way. $1140 AUD.

Wondering if the fat (Chinese??) Buddha is there as a model for the future Thai female Buddha images. The ones of the past are all of slim stature. -

Although smaller, it could become something like the old Bangkok Tobacco Monopoly (Benchakitti Park). It has become a lovely place to walk or cycle around. It is just off the end of Soi 4, Sukhumvit (if you haven't been there).
