Remember driving on the expressway a few times as this station was been built. Its one huge and big ass place if I remember correctly! I never thought that there would be enough business for a such a huge station, but lets wait and see. Are there any other shops or businesses inside the station?

Stayed here towards the end of August. Blackwoods hotel is located top end of Soi 7. Guest friendly, and a great little buffet breakfast included ( well included in my deal anyway). Paid £50 per night (through ebookers) but gave heard the rack rate is nearly £100 so pays to shop around. WiFi has a great speed and each room has their own WiFi router located behind the back of the tv. Localchannels on the tv as well as access to Netflix and Amazonprime too! Pool, gym and sauna on the top floor. Bar next to the pool openuntil 7pm ( I think). Would very happily stay here again.

Walked along here this morning. They must of filled the hole in as I didn't see any holes of any great depth! (or possibly, the story might have been exaggerated a little bit) -
All photos taken on my iPhone. The white barrier around the front was apparently to hide the huge hole in the WH lawn. The water pipes froze and exploded, so they dug the water fountain out and covered the hole with the white fencing

Probably the most overrated place I have seen. Nothing like what you see in the movies. But beside that, DC is a stunning place to visit as a tourist. Took these photos back in January of this year, and it was frickin’ freezing!

If you like Spy/Espionage/Action/War movies, then Israel have been producing some good TV shows in the past couple of years. Finished Fauda a couple of months, and have just finished Tehran yesterday. Now starting on Valley of Tears today.

Just finished season 1 and season 2 of Apple TV+ series "Tehran". Pretty decent viewing. Just started yesterday on a new series called "Valley of Tears" about the 6 day war.

Very interesting perspective of WS! You're a brave guy to walk under there.
