I'll give you a tip. Make sure you get off the plane as soon as possible and get to the front of the queue. It takes AGES to get through the security check. Only 2 Xray machines when I went last October. If you're at the back of the plane you might spend an hour of the 90 min stopover going through security. The fuckers confiscated a bottle of aftershave I bought at LHR because it was more than 100ml. I blame the cunts at LHR duty free for selling it to me really. It's easy to get lost in the airport too. Stick with the other passengers until you go through security. The lounge itself is clean and modern. There is one place where you can have a smoke. The Jet flights were ok, no complaints from me for GBP450

Loads of buses go down Soi 2 at all times of the day/night. I've never waited longer than a few minutes even in the early hours of the morning. Hotel looks nice enough but 1690 is a bit steep imho.

Sabai Lodge rooms are very tired looking, could even say shabby. Won't be staying there again until they are revamped. Have never stayed at the Sabai Inn but always read good reports. Sabai Wing is nice enough but more pricey.
