Hi If with G/F a place with a joiner fee is preferable as they are trying to discourage our esteemed boardies. Otherwise I don't want to stay in a place I'm not really wanted because of my recreational activities. Many of these places really want all falangs unless you are with Thai G/F .

Hi That's Pattaya International Hospital Think it is Dr Darika. I saved the airfare on treatment there and very pleasant lady. Dentists are in short supply in Britian an many of them are extortionists.

Hi Iv'e stayed there and the room was excellent. The bed was big enough for a serious party and I liked the place. Got some bad reviews on here but my room was great. I moved on to Nana which is not as good but had that special vibe I like. The Grand Inn is quite sedate in comparison.

Hi I agree, a chap I knew opened a restaurant in a dodgy street. It was very successful and now more restaurants have come to the street because he is always full. It hasn't hurt his business as the nature of the street has changed and it is now a street of restaurants and is a destination for people who want a nice meal.

Hi I think it was 3000 a month then. It was good, as lots on cable, good a/c, seaview, room clean and reasonable size. I'd have stayed long time then only had to go back to work.

Same, same. Seems to be trying to be a European resort with prices to match. Beaches much better than Pattaya though. I was there in Febuary and was surprised how little damage remained from tsunami. If I were you I'd park my luggage in a bar on Bangla Rd and have a look round for a suitable hotel near the action. Got the feeling mongers are not as welcome in some hotels as Pattaya.

Hi I stayed there years ago before they built a much larger block next to it. It's the new hotel wing you will be staying in I'm sure. I had no complaints about the hotel facilities(good value for money) but I felt they tried to overcharge me a few times, so instead of creating trouble I voted with my feet and have not been back since. Staff may be ok now.
