Don't know all the details, but the only people you could pass it to would be those who had already gotten past the inspection booth. Not much gain to it at that point. I was finally stood up by The Limo Pattaya this week for a pick-up in Pattaya at the Residence Garden. Made the booking a couple of days in advance using their web site. Not making excuses for them, but when I did not get an e-mail confirmation from them the next day, should have called to check on it. My equanimity now is due to the fact that I was able to go to the taxi stand across the street from the RG and get a ride to the airport right away. Will probably still give them my patronage in the future, but will be looking for that confirmation or calling.

As best I understand it, viagara or cialis dilate the blood vessels to achieve what you want. Alcohol constricts blood vessels. At 43, you may be getting close to the point where you can drink or you can do something else, but not both. Now, I have no particular objection to drinking but other things are good as well.

I remember the advice from the first trip to Thailand. Walk confidently at a steady pace and don't do anything unexpected because the taxi drivers actually do not want to hit you in that they would have to waste a lot of time talking to the police. Don't know that I had the confidence to rely on that advice at the age of 24. Pretty sure I don't want to count on it at the age of 60.

The Royal President offers possibilities in that price range. If you go to the top end of your price range in the Garden Wing, you get a rather nice separate bedroom and living room. The lowest priced studios are a bit more spartan but still have kitchen facilities. I think they have in room clothes washer but never having stayed more than a few days, never used it.

I think about it off and on, but from recent holidays I'm sceptical as to whether it would be a good idea. If I don't dive (and can't do that every day for a number of reasons), I find myself finishing 500 page sci fi novels in 2 or 3 days and watching far more TV than at home. At best, can only spend a few hours in the evening touring the bars. Know that I could pick up a few more options, if I had a condo and a car. But even with a good cable TV package, would be watching football and baseball games in the middle of the night to see live games. All of which doesn't mean I may not be shopping at the Tesco Lotus in 2 or 3 years.

I'm in Patong right now for the first time in four years. Touts aren't nearly as bad as before. They don't generally make physical contact. Some massage places seem to have katoey touts who are downright scary looking but not aggressive. For those of us who partake, the go gos at least have T-back bikinis--that's an improvement. Interesting. I booked the Sala Thai in Phuket/Patong for 5 nights at the end of the month through Agoda. Just reviewed their reply e-mail and here is a major part of what it says about the cancellation policy--"Any cancellations received less than 7 day(s) before arrival will be subject to a cancellation fee, in the amount of 1 night(s) charge. Failure to arrive at your hotel will be treated as a late cancellation. This will incur 1 night(s) cancellation fee." Obviously hope, for a variety of reasons, that I don't have to find out whether they are as good as their word on the cancellation policy. Used Agoda, because I could not make the Sala Thai site accept a direct reservation.
