  1. I posted a reference to this elsewhere, but here is a better location. Emirates have a partially hidden deal going on until 31st May for flights (Economy and Biz only) for flights originating in the UK. 5% reduction applied to the basic fare element (not taxes) when booking direct with the airlines website. Enter the code UKVOUCH in the "promotional code" box at the first stage of flight search, and reduction will be applied.
  2. The OP wants a shop to pick up items, not a mail order company. Using online delivery whilst on a short holiday visit and delivering to hotels is fraught with problems!
  3. Yeah....Real Madrid were there for the taking in both legs, but City couldn't be bothered,..... or so it looked. Athletic Madrid look a better bet for the final IMHO. Lets see how the Teutonic Scousers do tonight....They took their eye off the ball at the end of the last leg.
  4. Good that they have put the 787 on the Manchester run now. Don't know about economy, but the Biz seats are excellent on that aircraft with Qatar.
  5. Yes concur, my pal bought one from Tukcom (for about 2000 I think he said) ... It lasted for about 2 days before going tits up, they "sort of" replaced it (another 1000 Baht) and that one was fine for at least the 3 months he required it for, before donating it to a nephew. As with most copy items "hit & miss"
  6. Nice to see the general bonhommie pervading all of the reports coming out of the UK at the moment influenced by this feat. Still it will soon get back to the vitriolic bile dominating the news I suppose.
  7. I am absolutely amazed re your comments about Emirates Biz lounge in the A380 complex. It is enormous, at least 20 times the size of anything else anywhere in the world, new and meticulously cleaned; Overcrowding would be nigh on impossible. Although I use the 1st lounge (same size) more often, I regularly meet up with people in the Biz lounge... and call bullshit on your comments. As for "zoo"....busy and huge yes, but with pretty good facilities, and I don't know of another airport that provides free, almost 180 degree flatbed recliners in the open public areas (outside of the lounges).
  8. Ex- premiership ! They all got sacked, along with Daddy of course ! Now starring at such footballing meccas as Barnet, Sunny Scunthorpe & Northampton!
  9. Why the fcuk would you think that the Thai staff have all been eating the European food and come down with mass food poisoning! F'ing plonker
  10. Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex (But were blah blah blah......!)
  11. Good advice! He will not win in the long run, and it is very simple for them to rot up his holiday plans.
  12. Not long to go now, but I think United will turn Leicester over today, I also think Chelski will beat Tottenham, thereby gifting the title to Leicester by default. If United do win, then City will be under pressure directly after; Southampton are no pushovers and are seriously after Europa qualification, whereas many would be happy to avoid it. Swansea v Liverpool in a couple of hours time could be an open affair, and Liverpool could well put the reserves out. Europa win is absolutely their target now, along with that 5th Champions league position of course; Swansea are already safe, to my sur
  13. So many great movies! Staying early... Julius Caesar
  14. Yes, and sometimes that " hop" is for a fair old distance; Turkish prime example. They are meant to leave the centre seat empty, but that is not always the case, if they can fill the plane.
  15. Must have been there!?...Don Warrington
  16. The number of times that happens with many different agents, including what you think are direct airline sites, is far too frequent for it not to be deliberate!
  17. Must have missed the page change : The Lady in the Van
  18. Looks like Tottenham blew it this morning. Leicester just need 3 points now. I am not sure ( or even would rather they not ) that they will manage it at Old Trafford whilst still missing Vardy, but their home match against Everton, who may well have their holiday bags packed, is a strong possibility. United have to keep flat out, with Arsenal spluttering at the moment; even though I cannot see the top 4 changing. I am still backing Sunderland to be the escapee at the bottom.
  19. As new as they come... "Don't Panic" ! Dads Army
  20. You need to compare prices when Phillippines went out of business, not 1989. My cattle class fare with Quantas/BOAC in 1970 was approx. £550 ....No competition whatsoever, as Thai weren't flying that far.
