Sorry about that I am a little out of date as I did not travel to Pattaya in 2011 due to ill health so did not know about the closure.Does this mean there is no Carrefore in Pattaya now?.

Paps ,you just got to go to Carrefore on Central rd they have some excellent Thai sausages that they will even cook for you right there on the counter.They are not the same as UK sausages but they are an acceptable alternative with no rice that I could discern.

Hi all,MY licence,car and Bike (1 year) ran out last year as I was not in Thailand to renew it,Can I just get a 5 year licence when I go in May/June this year ot must I start again with another 1 year licence.Also what paper work do I need to get a new 5 year licence ,thanks.

I read about an incident just like that a few days ago ,cant remember where ,but it was not all that funny for the snake as it got silicone poisioning,from her implant, and died,she on the other hand was uninjured.I just noticed there is another video at the end of this one and the snake did die .Having listened I think I remember that this bird has the largest breasts in Israel,why that point should be made I have no idea as her tits were not all that large.

Absolutely true ,they ask for some ridiculous prices and if you know no better you can be ripped off quite unmercifully.I asked how much for mangoes and was quoted a price 3 times what I pay in the UK which was 10 time what I pay in Thailand.

They look cute,but I have a question apropos nothing at all ,will they be ok In Thai heat with coats that thick? As most dogs I see in Thailand have smooth(ish) type coats.

This juggler is fantastic!!....And with a Beatles song, it is very different. At first he just appears to be an ordinary juggler but then, you realize that the juggling is in time to the music. If you are old enough to know the song, it is difficult not to wonder how he is going to juggle to the bits at the end...... He does! AND, never makes a mistake! Definitely worth watching, even more than once. Being cheap by nature I normally go for the cheapest option.Having said that I always look for travel times in the 17 hour range with only 1 stop,and won,t use some airlines as I don't trust them very much.I can as I am not stuck on dates arrange my travel to suit the airline that charges me the least and have flown with Etihad,Gulf,EVA,Thai,Kingfisher and Emirates all of whom I would fly with again but Kingfisher was the worst plane,from India to Thailand,much too cramped ,although it had great food.I would never again pay extra for the EVA enhanced economy as I found the extra knee room not worth the extra cash as the seats were narrower and not as comfortable as cheap economy where I always got 2 seats anyway.So to be honest I don't have a favourite airline just a favourite destination.Book up and enjoy.

Prices on ebay can get very high as there is a large audience wanting to buy that reaches into tens if not hundreds of million homes all around the world .this site whilst being very well read is only going to reach 10,000 or so and not all of them live in Pattaya so there is a very limited market for this camera and with limited markets come lower prices ,except it seems in Pattaya or Thailand in general,which is why I asked my question. I take on board some of the things said but I still don't understand why 2nd hand stuff is thought to be good value at these prices. PS I do not apologise for having a different opinion from someone else. PPS well done on selling the kit ,it seems there are some who do think it was a good price.

I don't care what you or anyone thinks about how much I would or would not pay for this equipment.My question was " is this yet another thing that costs the earth in Thailand." Cheshire tom started a pissing contest rather than answer the question ,I looked up prices and posted what I thought were the relevant details without even reading the text of those ads .I accept I may have been a little out on the end prices but I still don't see why you now want to join the pissing contest.My opinion of the prices may well make any prospective buyer think twice about paying the asking price without question,and that is what I intended .If you don't like it you can always do the other thing.

I must bow to your better knowledge of e bay as I never knew you could look at the sold prices ,I still dont know how.I am still of the opinion that these bits can be bought at much less than the price asked ,and it matters little to me as I would not pay half that for any camera no matter how many lenses it had.

There may well be a lot of money spent new but as for there being almost a 1kGBP value I dont think so.A quick look on ebay gives prices for second hand values in the UK camera +18-55 lens £206 60 mm Macro lens £102 10-22 ldens £136 flash £94 thats £ 532 and a range of lowepro bags from £12 - £59 new,similar to the pic is about £30, you are still well under £ 600 in the UK market.I picked out the low prices on ebay now, not the prices you might get if you look for or wait for better prices later.so again I ask is this another article that is higher in Thailand,or is the seller looking for top dollar and a little bit more.

39,000 baht or £780, Isn't this a little high for a 2nd hand camera,when you can get it on ebay for less than half that in the UK. Or, is this yet another thing that costs the earth in Thailand.

Horses for courses,you are either a money saver or a money spender.I have used all these kinds of transport in the past and will probably use them all again sometime in the future,having said that, I ,as a money saver, like to use the Bus ,but there are times when even a money saver finds the wait far too long or no bus at time of arrival.You must take all these things into consideration when making YOUR decision .Saving a little cash is not such a bad thing as some would make you believe ,but if money is no object , get a cab , if it is try for a bus and if there is no bus then a cab is the only sensible way to get to funtown either way enjoy your holiday. PS the shorter the stay the less likely I would be to wait for a bus,but I usually stay 2 -3 months at a time.

Why do I need to lighten up, this is the Funnies section and the pic was not funny even if you do know who Fred West was .I asked why it was funny as some people ,twitterers and facebook types seemed to think it was so and I thought I might be missing the joke.It seems I was right, there was no joke, or at least no joke an outsider can see, so what was the point of posting it on a funnies page.
