i've stayed there 4-5 times in the 700bt rooms. three sections that run from beach road to 2nd road, like the center section best outside pool is nice and at beach road end in section 3 where the resturant is, 24 room sevice with thai and german food but nothing great, food enough for a pool snack or late night in room snack is right next door to the Hard rock so you can send the little one over there for a fee to swim in the multiple pools. rooms are getting a bit woren and the shower is the individual heater unit with low presure, a/c is runn with room key, although tou can get around th

if you just walk out side to the taxi stand, one there is no waiting or fucking around with "vocure" and going down stairs and waiting around and paying 4-600bt and the cost of the metered cab has never cost over 200bt, usally about 180bt to nana plus tip, they will normally ask for 300bt, just say no thanks, meter and you'll get no argument as they are "requried to offer meter if they utilize the cab line. like i said it not only cheaper but way faster to just walk out the doors down to the cab stand and go. choke dee

pm mike (ting tong) he stays there all the time and loves the palce, the day i stoped in the elevator wasn't working and it was 100 degrees with 100% humidity in the lobby. the room they showed me"ok", 600bt a night. yes it is on soi10 across second road up a few places, the entrance is maybe 200m up the soi on the right (south). i think mike said he negociated a 500bt for a couple weeks during low season. oh soi 10 does not "line-up" going across second road, it jogges down to the south aways, it's kinda across from the beer bar complex

if you were to walk across "beach road", there is a beach allbeit no life guard or slides

have found a good r/t fare on NWA from MSP-SIN $850usd was thinking of flighing to SIN spend a day or two as i've never been there and than a couple days in Batan on return. need to find r/t ticket from sin to eighter pty or bkk preferable upt. checked Jetstarasia and they say they have flights to pattaya but when try to book r/t sin to pty they say non available checked tiger air they seem to have sin to bkk available some days is there a travelocity or some thing that will check on several diffrent airlines "from" asia ie singapore to thailand return? the NWA flight doesn't arrive into

as any hotel, they will hold your reservations till 4or6pm depending on the hotel without deposit (CC) in advance. if you have a late flight into LOS and need a room just make a reservation garunteed with CC to hold room past 6pm gor one night. you can call and alert your CC company the days and dates you will be in LOS and tell them. i've stayed at the Lek, in the cheap section and enjoyed it at 750bt per night, could of got it for 700bt if paid a weeks stay in cash in advance. low season you can get an addition 100bt less. cheers rb

mark, the DI in bkk has a free van that goes to pataya daily leaving at 1100am which stops at DI on soi 13 DI resort depending on where you and anyone else going is staying. the three times i used it i was the only one in the van the first time, two of us the second time and the last time there were 5 in the 9 passanger van. it's a great ride, the driver drives it everyday and knows every short cut and is always less the 2hrs from downtown to pty, no stop or bullshit just get in and go!! you need to pay for two nights stay in pty in advance (1900bt) which is almost as cheap as a taxi ride

i assume you know about the free van from DI bkk to DI/DR patataya. if not pm me, best /cheapest way to get to pty in my option. actully you don't even need to stay at DI bkk, just 2 nights in pty which is what i do and move to AA or Lek after the 2days depending on how the construction is going

same same i stay at AA or Lek, I'm a soi13 kinda guy and at $650bt per night they have everything i want and loction, location, location (i belive that;s about half the price of RG) i usta stay at twin palms, (next to Hard Rock) but a little out of the way and some of the rooms are getting a little shabby and it's 700bt although i liked the place and staff. have a hard time justifying more than 1k per night for room in pty with all the availablity or maybe i'm just a cheap bastard.

obviously your age and health conditions have a large part in the equation. getting old and sick all alone in any foriegn country is not a good propasition. that said, the other part of owning is your inablity to move, you may tier of pty or wherever after a few years of continual bliss or worst yet find a tg that you fall in love with and they aren't going to want to stay in paty, as on bg told me "if we live together it has to be atleast 6hrs from pat, no going to the store and ending up st!!!" anyway, if you can find a place resonably cheap to buy what the hell you may have to right it of

shit, am just going to miss you, booked 20-31jan05 arrive mnl at 2300 21jan05 NW#1 for $900usd from msp tried booking bkk but prices were to high($1600usd) and at 38bt to a dollar the 56pp for buck!!!!! will have to wait till sonkong now.

when i was in frankfurt (actually heildelburg) i'ld drive drive over mto the czech boarder and into pilsner and do some partying, it was a 6hr drive each way, i'ld get off duty at 1630 head out get there about 1130, shag for an 1- 1/2hrs and be back to work at 0800. if i could of afforted a plane ticket to LOS i would ofdone it even if for a few hrs. i'ld check into having alimo service pick you up that provides tg's, don't waste any time!! best of luck cheers i could tell you of other trips you'ld never belive
