These pixes really bought it all back.Whilst I missed this one I really looking forward to another of those parties real soon.

I have stayed here before and enjoyed the proximity to all the action. I am in the process of booking again and have a question. The room price varies if you book for one or book for two persons. The point is that having booked for one is there a joiner fee? I have never heard from anyone ever paying a joiner fee at the Sunshine but then again I am unsure if the bookings I have made in the past were for one person or two. As a matter of interest the difference in rate was 150 baht per night.

I suggest that you get membered up on the Phuket web site similar to this one. I did first time there and it was invaluable. Sorry I cant recall the mname but I am sure that Google can take tyou there.

Was there last year in November and there was no shortage of rooms. Its really not an issue.

Thanks to both of you. Yes, there does seem like a fair amount of places at say 1000B and I was wondering if it was worth spending a bit more but I think that you have made my mind up for me.

The USP at the Cherry Bar is Adam. He really is unique and when I was over spent one night it was so simple to make an arrangement with him. He is a good guy and another USP is that most of his girls believe that he is an ace guy and many have been there as long as he has. OK, maybe you feel different but when a bar owner treats me as a total individual he has my vote. The funny thing about this whole thred is that rather than be positive it has become negative because there seems no special reason to go there whereas there are special reasons to visit some of th places that I have mentioned and where I have spent tens of thousands of baht over the years.

Hi is it safe to book the Areca. There was a lot of construction going on over the last year.

I really like to support the members and sponsors on this board. I believe that they really understand what we come to Patts for however I also agree with the above BM. There is certainly a "USP" to be had (IMHO) at the Cherry, FLB etc and I support them. If I have no reason to go other than because a place is owned by a BM then I really can't be bothered. I am not being obtuse. I realise that there is a limit to what you can spell out but business is business.

I will be in Singapore for a few days later this year and wonder if anyone has stayed in any of the Fragrance Hotels. OK, they are in the Red Light area and are budget priced but there are a lot of them. Any thoughts on these or other hotel in the City please?

This thing about what you can advertise etc. If I recall correctly Dream Teen Massage used to advertise on their web pages Ball Massage as an optional extra. I think that a lot of people would feel that there is a bit of sex included in this advert.

Without a doubt the most central hotel in Patong is the Baan Thai. Its right in Bangla Road opposite the Tiger Disco. Issue is that there is a 1000B joiner fee.

There are a lot of businesses that make a living from the vast number of NGO and Charity workers in the country. I have to say that the food in some of these places was fine and on two visits the stomach behaved itself and I am not an expensive eater and try the local curries etc.

WOW! Adam that did bring it all back to me and I see a few newbies, ladies that is, so I will start the count down to my next trip.

Pete. Seems to me that the quality of the ladies has totally improved. I never had a real fancy for a take away before but some of these are outstanding. Well done once agin for the promo.

Anyone stayed here since the renovations were done. This is a well priced and well located place and I may give it a try if I can get a reccomendation.

Problem with Eastiny 7 is a crap pool.

Had some of my best Patts experiences there and will miss the place. If you were staying in the Soi Buakow are it was a great first stop for the night if you were on the baht bus heading to town. LVP was a good guy to meet there and I believe that he had a condo in the same building. As for location, well it makes as much sense say as the Castle and the Buffalo and if it had been kept under control then it may have still been open. I did make mention of this in a thread here to LVP.

Flashy........I wont be there but I am aware that your well known in the area and am happy to add my reference to your efforts. Hope its still all go later in the year.

Thanks Mr Dream but I was thinking of say 1 or 2 nights in Kanchanaburi and seeing all the sights there ---for instance. I would also like to do Ko Chang. I am also keen for say 3/4 nights in Siem Reap. These to me will set you apart if you can do it well and at the right price.

I stayed there last year and at the price was OK in the off season. All that Big Dicus says is true and I have no issues. It is plain but then the position is as good as you will ever get in Patts so you balance that out. Give it a try for a few days as I cannot recal that there was any better deals for extended stay.

I am really interested in side trips from Pattaya. What have you on offer please?
