Looks good, thanks for the pics and report Evil! -
Big D you have been coming to Thailand and Pattaya long enough to know just how effective that would be...lol

Yes this condo is still for sale, it is on the 3rd floor. The building itself is 5 floors. Pm me for more info or email me at brian7seas@yahoo.com. Expanding on Gary's above post regarding fire safety there are many fire alarm stations on every floor as well as fire extinguishers. I showed the unit to a potential buyer yesterday and had a look, all the extinguishers on the floor were charged

Some places will sell it some won't. Sometimes it depends if they know you or not. Pattaya has cracked down on otc drugs like ED's. sleeping tabs, and steroids. It is not the wild west it used to be but is still fairly untamed :)

As always a great detailed review by Evil. This one was not enough to take me away from a few of my go to places especially for pizza but i appreciate the effort, look forward to the next one

There is a certain freedom about being able to take your own boat out any time you would like. Houses in Jomtien Yacht Club estate all have their own private slip and of course leads out into the gulf

It does have a sink, running water, a microwave, a hood, and something important that you left out...a refrigerator. The fact that there is no built in hob and it is in a separated area in your eyes makes it not a kitchenette, what would you call it then? BTW i would hate to see your idea of a proper kitchen, perhaps something you would see on iron chef???

In Gary's post the whole issue of the size was based on maintenance cost, that prompted me to call the owner and double check, therefore correcting the size

Gulf Charters Thailand which operates at the marina behind the Ambassador Hotel in Na Jomtien offers sailing courses.

Maintenance fees are 400 per month or 4000 per year. I have found out the unit is 44 sqm including the balcony. Sorry for the misrepresentation on that. Is an extra 50-100 baht per month really a deal breaker though?

Just look for clinics that offer ED treatment. There are still many pharmacies that sell it but as MM mentioned it is probably wise not to mention them on an open forum for obvious reasons

Party, Apple Bar Jomtien. June 11th
cbrib replied to chris_heaton's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
This is a nice little hide away in Jomtien. i don't make it there often but have always enjoyed my visits there. Will try to make it by for the party. Cheers -
The only time i have ever gotten sick from food in Thailand was from a stall at the Mor Chit bus station. Two weeks later the Bangkok Post had an article that half of the food stalls there were closed due to the lack of cleanliness of the food. I eat from food carts and made to order stands at least 3 times a week and never a problem in 12 years of living here. We buy most of our food from outdoor market near by on the day, again never a problem

Looks good. Another great review Evil, thanks for taking the time!

I had said the owner was motivated to sell. After having a chat he has now reduced the price by 11% to 8.9 MTHB. It is also now available for rent at 35K per month on 6 month contract and 30K per month on a one year. I highly suggest that interested parties take advantage of the buyers market while it exists. All i have heard since moving to Thailand are whiners complaining how expensive and over priced things are yet prices continue to rise. Nay sayers and arm chair warriors will have their say but for those that are educated in the market place in Pattaya and Jomtien should be tempted to come have a look -- for free-- and see for them selves weather this is a good value or not. Interested parties please contact me at brian7seas@gmail.com Thank you

I have heard a lot of good and bad reviews about this place, the pics look disgusting so i have not been there to try. The pic MeGo just posted looks to me like a proper sandwich. Also tried the sister company American Pizza Factory and was not impressed

There are 2 on Thepprasit, PTT and MP. They are practically right next to each other on the left hand side going towards Sukhumvit. They say the quality is not as good as MP but i use it all the time. No long lines, much better service and no engine troubles to speak of. Price range there also isn't a real noticeable difference

I read Stickman more for entertainment than actual information. He is a paid blogger and a talented writer. He thinks just because he speaks fluent Thai he is somehow much more knowledgeable and better than anyone who is not fluent. Truth is he is not a Thai accountant or a Thai lawyer and knows not much more if anything than any of us that do our due diligence He went from being and English teacher to a blogger to an entrepreneur with his blog and i respect that, however i do not consider him the definitive word in everything Thai. Thai Visa is not really different than other forums. They cut and paste news articles from other news sources and let bm's comment on them in open discussion. Some are very knowledgeable and helpful all the way down to trolls with no life. They make money on banner adverts just like he does. The only real difference between Stickman and Thai Visa is TV is an open forum and Stick is basically a closed monologue.
