That is because it isnt a tax ,it is a charge made up of varius charges ie security,airport charges etc but MAINLY it is a FUEL SURCHARGE that all airlines use these days,it makes the cost of a ticket sound less expensive when you first see it. If oil went back down to $20 per barrel would these charges disapear again ? I think not.

There are 2 blocks at areca, dont know about the back block but in the front block as you go down the corridor,which is not a straight corridor but bent a little like a boomerang, to the rooms,rooms are on both sides of the corridor, the executive room,1 only per floor only as far as I am aware,are in the bend of the boomerang overlooking the front pool so there should be no noise from construction taking place out the back.

Yes the correct place is LEVEL 1,which could be what the english call the basement ,and the bell rep is opposit the tourist police stand which is next to door 7 which is a revolving door (bell do not have a stand just sits on the chairs with a small sign.if facing out through door seven you should be ablr to look to your left and about 40 metres or so up is a food hall. The arrivals hall is on the second level so you need to go down one level from there. ozboy

If you want to go straight from the airport without waiting a couple of hours then obviously you will have to make arrangements with mr T beforehand as if you ring from airport it will take at least 90 mins driving for them to get to you. Yes a sim card can expire even if you have money on it,however some cards have an expiry up to 12 months ahead so presumably you will have to wait till you arrive to find out if it is active or not,and if it is expired you can get new ones at the airport. ozboy

Maybe try using two washers (something I have done before) and maybe it wont need to be tightened up so much or perhaps buy a new flexible hose connection (normally used to connect from the wall to cistern) which should be metal connections and "should" fit the "gun" but dont know if you will get a long enough one or if too expensive. ozboy

Well done Mulphy,a very comprehensive report on SOI LK METRO.I personally stayed there in metro apartments in sept/oct this year and found them to be very good accomodations indeed,so much so that i will be back for a further month in May,and maybe even looking at march. I must admit to not sampling any of the wares in your fine establishment yet but will change that next time round,but i was known to sample the long island tea at the v/w bus,with and without the company of a couple of well known members on here. ozboy

Hi Jacko, a bit of both actually if that is possible,I May be back in jan/feb for 2 or 3 weeks and almost certainly will be back sometime between april and june for 4 maybe 5 weeks and then again later this year,so obviously whether the sept/oct trip was to be counted as the "beginning"of the 6 month period or not may influence exactly when I do travel. ozboy
