End Of Cheap Flights from U.K.?

airline tickets will be taxed more but to say they will go up 100% is just ridiculous, could be talking around £100 at most at a guess, I could afford £700, remember what you pay in airfare you will save in LOS compared to virtually all holidays in other parts of the world

And indeed why should you be? It's not necessarily a convincing argument.

Cause and effect. The fact that climate change is occurring doesn't mean that it's attributable to global warming, and this theory certainly hasn't been proven beyond all reasonable doubt.

Think hidden agendas. :nod

Neil324 - The point is 'another stealth' tax by the UK Government. Why with only 65 million in the UK

would the uk be 'pioneers' with such a tax ? Think about it - if say tax on flight tickets from the UK were increased by 10% who would benefit ? Of course the UK Government ! and the treasury ! If the Chinese are

opening a new coal fire power station every 5 days what difference would this extra UK tax have on our world ? This has given the UK Government a golden opportunity to increase yet again their indirect tax revenue.

Yeah I saw this guy on the BBC.......

Should work wonders for the competitive pricing of tickets on BA.

It's like a sneak tax, one you cannot selectively avoid.

Global warming...those that live in Northern England are all for it!

Interestingly the UK Met Office never seems to back any of these disaster reports and continues to champion the "weather cycle" theories. (Surely those guys would be the "leading lights" in these cases., but then again the MOD own the Met Office..... " Conspiracy ????")

I loved the quote on TV this weekend ...... " A 700 PAGE REPORT !! How f'**ing green is that then ?! :D

'Tis all about taxes and revenue generation. :D :D
