Hi BMs. I have tentative reservations at the Metro Apts on Soi Bukhao in August and September and wonder if anyone has an opinion about them. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks :D

If you're looking for a nice room at a good price, you can't go wrong there.

The bar is air-con now and has free pool tables.

If you like staying in the Soi Diana/Bukeow area, it's one of, if not the best place for the money.

Dennis the owner is a great guy for an Irishman. :D

Thanks LBJ, I will take your advise. I don't mind Irishmen.

Sanget, I did a review on the place last year. Review

Most of the information is still relevant, however some changes have been made since then, all for the better I might add.

Since the review I spent 3 months their last Sept through to November and then 3 weeks in January and wholeheartedly agree with LBJ's comments. In fact, I just checked in last night for another 4 weeks

For me, it's my second home - Dennis and his staff are first class.

Got to agree with the bagman and LBJ the Metro is a great place to stay. :angry2

I’ve stayed there my last 3 trips and always had a good time every time also recommended it to loads of people and they have always been pleased as well.

The only reason I’m not staying there on my next trip is because I have evil intentions towards a couple of the staff :hairout and I don’t like doing it on my own doorstep. But will be popping in most days to use the excellent bar and facilities. :lovee

This looks like a great place to stay, but the web site is not too clear on the difference between the standard room and the superior room in terms of size. Is the superior room bigger, or is the extra cost just for the tea/coffee and microwave?

Thanks,

Mike

My 2 cents..

Very nice for the price. Only drawback (if any) is no lift and you might be on the 3rd floor. Other than that, had no issues. Main entrance closes around 2, but you will be given a key to the private entrance on the side of the blgd. (Very trustig of Dennis to allow you to walk through his bar unattended).

Can order breakfast off menu from place right next door and Metro girls will fech it for you. Also, large supply of free DVDs to watch if you can possibly find the time.

Lastly, Lolitas is 50 steps away, money exchange on the corner, 7-11 right there as well as several nice bars. I think you'll find it one of the best places for the money.

Quick question any joiner fee for more than one girl. I travel with the missus and because she is an ex Pattaya girl we might have half a dozen girls up for a visit?
