I did not even bring any wooly jumpers with me from the UK :gulp

It seems so strange only last month I had to put the air on to cool bedroom down

before going to bed ,now its a quick shower and straight under 2 duva covers HA HA

I dont know how I could face the temp now on a winters night in the UK

and being alone in a cold bed 2guns

I just got back from Ubon and it was cold too. Thank goodness the day before big sister's fiance (now husband) put in an instant hot water device in the shower.

Mick, I left on Jan 1 and was there for a month, seriously if going into town at night was wearing a fleece, socks and hat.

If night fishing, big jumper, fleece, wooly hat and normally we would build a bonfire.

I know phoning the wife it's all I get is "oh cold, cold", yeah same as offshore azerbaijan at this time of year, although better than last year as was in Georgia and temps of -27degC common throughout winter

I am up before the sun most days and have taken to donning a T-shirt in the mornings, and I am in Pattaya! She will be up a few hours later wandering about with a quilted jacket on, complaining of the cold. I love it, refreshing, air that you can breathe instead of suffocates. Coming out of the bedroom is no longer like entering a sauna.

Mind you, I seem to put off the morning shower until later!

On the flipside ..

It was my birthday on Tues here in Oz.

It was 41c.

My dear mother informs me it was he same when I was was born except back then it was called 104f.

She deserved a medal.

I dont understand humans living in places where by simply going outside they can freeze to death. The world is interesting!

Happy birthday Jeff,

On the flipside I can't understand people wanting to live where you can cook an egg on the footpath :D

I live about 160 kilometers north of you in Loei province. We have had a lot of 4, 5 and 6C nights lately. Global warming? I'm headed for Jomtien tomorrow morning to see if I can get warm. My wife says I am a wimp and to just go ahead and go, she prefers to stay home.
