I'm not sure that I'd do it just as a couple. It's a good place for slow-paced sanook and great food in a group, maybe 8-12 folk.

Its a little ways out so you would need to have your own vehicle or hire one. Its located on the beach just outside the center of Bang Saray. Nice setting , reasonable prices and tasty food. Taking Sukhumvit south you would turn right just after you pass the turn to Noong Nooch Gardens.

Hey thanks, I'll be sure to check this one out. A bit far to go every day though (Staying at Soi 2). Will also check out Marine Seafood, sounds good as well.

If you are staying in Soi 2, check with the folk at Sabai Inn (K. Aan or K. Supaporn) for directions. They introduced me to the place when we used to go for staff dinners/parties.

You're scared of a little shelfish thingy, what a poofter. :D

They are basically big prawns so the taste is similar but a little stronger and it's a bit meatier.

But they will cook the lobster for you and the cooking process disables the nasty claws. Don't panic, I'll look after you, you're obviously such a delicate thing. :allright

I've always liked lobster tail and then one time I got the whole lobster. After I got the shell off I noticed some greenish looking stuff on the lobster that I thought could be crap and I couldn't eat anymore of my dinner. I still enjoy lobster tail but no more whole lobsters for me.

Hey thats great, just up the road from Soi 2 and I do like the thought of going away from the main sea front area. I've never been up that area before so I'll explore whilst I'm there.
You might need help ordering unless you can read Thai.......

But I have found the food good and reasonably priced.

Often full of Thais on a Sunday which is a good sign... there is also a branch on the beach behind Banglamung police station.

The Erawan is here(as far as i can see, never been there)

Which is at the other end of Pattaya from soi 2, so you would need to get to

2nd road and catch a baht bus down to soi 2

Should take about 10 minutes with all the stops and traffic, and the baht bus is cheap as hell.

Chemistry, you probably should also check this link and join the full board for much more information

4 crabs 4 fish 12 prawns 8 rock lobsters 2 squid and 2 kg of Vegetables with 2 pots of rice.

With drinks the bill divide by 9 came to 1100 baht each

We had 1 fish 1 crab and a 1 kg of vegetables left over.

One day walking down Soi Bukow we did stop at at seafood place and the meals we had were around about 80 baht each

never made it back but will different return next trip. If you come out at the top of Soi Honey and head left towards central road about 500 meters open air.

There is a place on so bhuakow on the same side of the road as Siam Sawasdee hotel at the juction of the road going up to Villa Panalee, I think it is called Marine Toureg and they serve good fresh fish for a fraction of the cost of Walking Street restaurants.

Alternatively you can buy a whole fish that would be reasonably fresh for 50-80 baht in the market at soi bhuakow.

Thai girls are not fans of expensive eateries and if you want to bring a girl to a good value for money fresh seafood restaraunt then look no further than the seafood restaurant at marine plaza behind JP bar.
