I was awake early this morning, the monk was enthusuastic on the volume control, but never mind, a coffee will be pleasant.

It is that time of year I gloat... Thailand climate, after a few unexpected days of cloud and rain, looks good again. I think of my origins, the UK, the winter arrived early there, snow and ice creating havoc. I see the USA mid west has had heavy snowfall already... it looks like a tough winter for many. So post me the pictures of misery from far afield, here is my view today.

But guess what, I feel cold, the thermometer was only just above the 20 mark this early morning...(Celsius, USA guys :grin-jump)brrr.

I shall float on the pool with a cold one later, when it warms up a bit, a delicate toe will tell me when it is safe to take the plunge without testicular retraction.

Seasons greetings and all the best for 2011 to all.

Your right about the temperature, bangkok was supposed to be 18 overnight. pattaya was cold, went to the moon river pub last night and the girls were freezing in their skimpy little outfits. The trip home on the bike was a cold one but at least she wanted to huddle up close !!

Thanks, that's my view from the back of the house, the volcano shaped feature is an old coal tip, a reminder from the coal mining industry. Double glazing is a must this time of year. :bj2
