Watch ITV/ BBC iPlayer from outside the UK

Recommended Posts

I've been using this software to watch BBC & ITV players ,Needs a good internet connection.

It will play BBC ITV Players ok and seesaw which has loads of UK series.

INFO here http://www.how-to-hide-ip.info/2010/05/15/...-without-a-vpn/

Download here ,it uses the Tor project, Firefox Portable, Foxyproxy and a Flash Player Plug-in bundled in a compact package that is easy to run and it does not need any configuration. It is completely portable, you can install it on a USB drive and take it anywhere you want.

Chris 2004,first download mozilla firefox, that way when you change the settings it wont affect IE.Then find a UK proxy address on net.Try xroxy proxy or sam air.Right click on the number and copy. Then go to firefox, tools, options, settings click manual proxy configurations and underneath paste the proxy number you copied earlier.Enter the port number too and click underneath use this proxy server for all protocols.Close all the boxes and then you can watch bbc iplayer etc.If that ip number doesnt work(some are too slow) just re-enter another number and try again.

I use 2 paid for proxies depending on which is fastest. ITV works pretty good BBC and Sky are poor.

www.strongvpn.com

www.identitycloaker.com

I can access all the Bookmaker sites I want with them so being able to sometimes watch British TV is a bonus.

Failing that you can join www.thebox.bz or www.uknova.com to download British TV programs. They are usually uploaded almost as soon as the program has finished.

I love the English Antigue shows , Antigues Road trip, Bargain Hunt, Put your money were your mouth is etc , they hardly ever appear on the mainstream torrent sites , I frequently request these to be uploaded on sites like revtt and TL etc

I just joined thebox.bz and am pillaging the site at the moment , have 40 odd torrents queed.

Thanks for the tip

Click here for a free 5 minute preview:

UK TV Abroad

Mate who runs the site is generally always online to answer any queries via the popup at the bottom right.

HDMI cables on Amazon for less than £2 also for watching through the telly.

Nice.

VPN is definitely the way to go. Thing is that proxies don't always deliver the exact (British in this case) IP address you need for the specific purpose of watching one TV service. There are some very, very nice VPNs for free these days. They require some setup.

Tor is not a good program. It is a GREAT program. But its purpose is to allow people in censored countries (Thailand, China, Saudi, Iran) get around government censorship, and not to deliver content banned by the remote service (BBC). It will get around all Thai government censors, but it won't necessarily get around Spotify or BBC or Hulu. Plus because it is trying to give you some SECURITY from jack-booted government thugs, it tries provide personal security through obscurity, which means a lot of slowdown. A VPN is a direct pipe.

Horse, course, etc.

I gave it a try (http://www.brittv.co.uk/) and lo and behold they are showing some blond chick getting her kit off on the BBC!

I was a bit suspicious of that.

But it was slow and jerky, quite unsuitable. Likely my piece of shit TOT internet.

True ran some cables up the street the other day, so I have hopes for the future.

Hi Guys,

We have a great software solution to watch UK TV anywhere in the world. The quality is much better than a lot of these free sites and has no ads or popups to watch.

The service costs from 600 baht per month, I know it's not free, but you will get a much better quality service, picture and it will ALWAYS work, no hunting around for a stream that will actually work diring busy times.

You can take out a 100% free 2 day trial here: https://www.thaiexpat.tv/free_trial.php and test it out for yourself.

The system works on MAC/Windows/iPad/iPhone/Android/Mobile Devices and have a full 7 day history on-demand feature, so you can watch the shows at your own leisure.

Our Thailand servers are located in Bangkok so you will not need to use any VPN or proxy service, and will not need to rely on Thailands poor international bandwidth.

Thanks,

TETV Admin
