Okay, this is just my opinion, but you can take it for what it's worth. I only visit your gogo on a bar crawl with FLB anymore, even though I have always found it having lots of stunners in it. What puts me off, and it seems that those that I sit with agree, is, the ladies are not friendly enough. They seldom make eye contact or smile directly at men. Even calling them over gets a cold shoulder. If I just wanted a drink, there are plenty of cheaper places to sit alone and get a drink. That's not what I go to a gogo for. If I were to make an assumption, it would be that most of your ladies have Thai boyfriends and are living off their salary, and not interested in lady drinks, or bar fines.

 

Last month your gogo was on the bar crawl. Bushcraft was sitting to my left, he actually got up left and waited for us out side. When I saw him outside as we left, I made the comment that, "that was the hottest bunch of ladies that I have been ignored by in a long time." His reply, "yah, but what's the point?" Drink specials aren't going to get us in there. We like ladies that are fun to be with, and available.

 

I actually got a chuckle out of your discount barfine. I have no idea how much your bar fine is, of all the times I have ever been in Heaven's above, I have not made it to the point of asking how much the bar fine is. What good would a card that gives me the 7th barfine free, if I can't get even one?

 

Sorry to sound so negative, but it's an honest assessment. As a customer, I think a bigger draw to your place would be an attitude adjustment from the ladies. We can all find lots of arrogant snobs at home, why fly to Pattaya and pay to see the same?

Lovedog we hear what you and others have said about the Heaven Girls. It is noted and talked about quite a bit. Heaven Above does not have a minimum lady drink or barfine for our staff. We do have quite a few customers who praise that our staff is not always hounding them for a drink or barfine. I might suggest that next time you ask a service staff, hostess or mamasan to have a give come over. I think that works most of the time.

 

I think it would be safe to say that most girls in Pattaya have Thai boyfriends, that would include most of the girls working in gogos.

I hate it when I enter a gogo and the moment I sit down immediately is assulted by an often old and/or ugly girl, that is all over me hassling me for LDs and then is reluctant to leave, preventing me to choose a girl of my own taste instead!

If you tell them to leave some get very angry and might throw abuses at you because you don't like them, or just simply ignores your request and continues to hang on to you anyway until you in anger leaves!

That is why I like to visit gogos like Heaven Above from time to time, because of it's no hassle policy!

That does not seem to be Lovedog's, nus01's, nor my experience. I do like not to be hassled and all credit to HA for being good in that respect, but my experience is that the girls are not even willing to make eye contact should I wish for company. I usually look in once each trip, but cannot remember going there a second time for a very long while.

 

Perhaps your experience is different because you are known to be a friend of management.

HA has one of the most impressive lineups, but after each dance session the entire group disappears to the back room. The owner cannot tell me that all I have to do is motion for one of them to come sit with me, because I have done so and been ignored, several times. I rarely have a problem getting a girl over in a gogo, I'm normally fighting off the ones I'm not interested in. So if I have a problem with getting attention in HA, it is safe to say most others will as well. The feeling I get in HA is, Please Look Only, But Don't Touch.

I do want to tell you guys something impressed me greatly about Heaven Above staff.

 

Early April this year, I bought one of the 10 drink cards for 895b. It's a very good deal, and I like drinking 89.5baht Heineken in a gogo with stunning naked women....a lot.

 

So, the first night I had 2 drinks which they stamped on my card.

 

Then I didn't go back until after Songkran. Unfortunately, I got soaked on the night of the 18th of April, and had my drink card in my pocket, without protection.

 

As I sat down and ordered my drink, handing the waitress my card, I didn't notice anything wrong.

 

A few moments later, she brought me the card and showed me that it wouldn't open (it's actually a foldover coupon). The interior sides were stuck together. She left it to me to pry them apart, and as I did so, I could tell that the interior of the card had lost its legend and my stamps.

 

I calmly explained to her that it was from Songkran, and that I'd had 2 stamps used, and a remaining 8 to go.

 

She took the card, and I could tell they were having a conference at the cashier station. No farang management was present, so this was going to be an all-Thai resolution. I was not optimistic.

 

A few minutes later, she came back with my card containing 3 stamps now, and a very cold Heineken.

 

Good work, Heaven Above staff! I was very happily surprised.

That has been my experience as well. I can only remember one time that a lady there even talked to me. It was on one of the bar crawls, all of us were sitting alone waiting to go to the next place. Then I noticed MM had three ladies, and appeared to be the only one not ready to leave. Well, I walked over and asked him how he got the nicest looking ladies in the place, when the rest of us were sitting alone. He passed one of them over to me, she was a hottie, and friendly. I came back for her a couple of days later, but was ignored again. I have no idea how MM does it. Two of the ladies he had, I had offered to buy a drink when they got off stage, but they never showed up. Once going to the toilet one of the ladies outside smoking noticed that I was alive, I offered to buy her a drink when she came in. When she cam in, she walked right past me.

There wasn't one woman in Windmill that I would have barfined, but I obviously had a lot of fun. Had just one of the ladies at Heaven above that I was interested in, noticed me, I probably would have never made it to Windmill. Well I thank all the posters who have contributed to this thread, it has certainly restored my ego. I go into HA infrequently now, although it always has a great line-up of girls. Over the years I have always been ignored, just like others have said, no eye contact, finish dance head for the backroom etc. I thought it was just me and am glad to see that other, younger and better looking BM have the same problem.

As Lovedog said, why are you gonna buy a drink for a girl who treats you like s...t. ?

Windmill, baby dolls, quite a few other gogos may not have girls of the quality of HA but they are friendly and they are busy....

Thanks for the info, I've been going to Heaven Above a bit lately and think that they have one of the best lineups in Pattaya. The girls are friendly and I've enjoyed their company while buying them a lady drink. I haven't gotten around to barfining one of them yet but I think that is probably coming up in the near future .

Are you certain? Not everybody likes/enjoys what happen in clubs like Windmill, Babydolls, X-zone, ... and if Heaven would become like them I would stop going there... and many others guys too.

 

I have no problem with this "ignore attitude". I am not a easy smiling guy and use to be ignore in most places anyway. . But I think that I have never had an "invitation to sit with me" refused in HA when I managed to make sign to a girl, or to send her the message by the staff. Once with me they usually have a very different attitude... a good one.

nutosf, I really hate to reply again, I don't want to make this about you and me. However, you are not listening. None of us expects you to turn your place into xzone, babydolls, or windmill. What we are saying is that your ladies stare at the mirror, a spot on the wall, or anything other than look us in the eye and smile. I don't want mamasan dragging a lady over to me, when she never noticed I existed, even though I have been sitting right in front of her for ten minutes. I'm not a rapist. I don't want a woman forced on me.

 

I don't care if she is just pretending to like me, I do care that she hasn't noticed that I exist. We all can stay in our home countries and have beautiful ladies act like we don't exist. That is not what we come to Pattaya for. We all know that we are not handsome men. But it does feel good when a woman makes us feel like we are. We are willing to pay for that fantasy. You are in business to sell drinks, and we are willing to buy drinks as long as we are being entertained. Being ignored is not very entertaining. No hassle is great, no interaction at all, is not.

 

You said that your ladies are doing ok with lady drinks and bar fines. I don't believe that. Me and my friends have walked out to many times with out buying either. If they are doing OK, they certainly aren't living up to their potential, because they aren't getting money out of my pocket, that I am more than willing to give away. You do understand that I am saying, that I want to spend money in your establishment, and no one seems to want it? Not a great business plan.

 

I really want you to know I'm not picking one you. I like to see farang succeed in business in Pattaya. I make a point of using farang owned businesses, unless there is no other choice. Go back and read what has been posted, you will see we have all been saying the same thing.
