Bangkok Airways - Asia's boutique airline.

Recommended Posts

Ive always enjoyed flying with Bangkok Airways. I like the way that they have lounge's for ALL of their passanger's. The lounge in BKK(as well as all their other domestic lounges), has free wifi, and a number of free internet terminals for use. A smallish selection of snacks and hot and cold drinks. Its not a large selection to choose from, but could any of you see BA, Easyjet or any other muppet airline in the EU providing this kind of service for there passangers.????

Photos from BKK lounge..............

Thanks, nice photo essay indeed.

That "Domestic Departures" sign seen in your first pic has got to be one of the world's weirdest airport signs. "Domestic" means the entire world with time zone clocks. That's funny.

I use Bangkok Air to go between BKK and Phnom Penh. Air Asia has so few flights a day to Phnom Penh, Bangkok Air is really the way to go. The airline always serves a full meal on the flight . It is funny to watch the flight attendants running around the cabin trying to get the meal served so people actually have a few minutes to eat it before the plane lands.

Your photos are great. But you missed the most attractive part of Bangkok Airways, their abundance of beautiful young ladies who provide the charming airline service. :D That's what really sets Bangkok Air apart from any Western airline. :chogdee

Bangkok Air is a premium price airline even thought they fly some props.

Well I nearly said 'mostly props', but when I checked it appears they have 9 jets and 8 props.

Is that last photo of the Phuket lounge?

The photos towards the end of the OP are of Phuket lounge, but the first lots of photos are of the lounge in BKK.
