I'm running Tablet ; Android 3.1 and am basically getting same as Gabor and Tomcat; plus aforementioned ability to "view post anyway" option for BMs on ignore is missing.Just noticed that the complete "Manage friend/poster/ signatures" drop down options are missing too.

In an attempt to eliminate the effect of any bugs fixed in the last two Invision releases, their support upgraded our server. There are done teething pains right now.

Seems they are baffled because it's not reproducible on their computers.

It's not strictly a local browser issue, because other Invision sites work fine.

Sorry for the frustration and trouble thisis causing. I'm at my wit's end right now.

Well I now have a problem, perhaps due to the update.

I used to have a black dot next to each thread where there was new post(s). I could click there and be taken directly to unread posts in that thread. Dot has gone....

Navigating to unread posts is harder... 'Go to first unread' sometimes isn't there.

No green/red ratings buttons either.

Poor MM.....

If you hovered over a the last poster's avatar, information about him was displayed. That's gone.

 

But we're all still managing ok so don't tear any expensively dyed hair out. They'll get it sorted!

Everything works fine on other forums...so it's not a fucked up browser setting. Something is going on at the server too, since many of us are having the same problems.

Intermittent for me in that I just tried the quote function on 4 posts here. First one looked fine, had smileys to choose and all that jazz. Second and third had no smileys and such and looked just like G originally described. Forth was hunky-dory again.

 

Server has turrets perhaps..............

Yeap, I'm missing these now, too. Plus a graphic upper left is missing; the PT logo I think.

I have some of the same problems as others describe, plus a few that haven't been mentioned. Drop-down box (with My content, My profile, etc. under "Evil Penevil" at the top of the page that usually appears when I put the pointer on EP has disappeared. Line and paragraph breaks don't work, plus all editing extra functions (text color, font, size, etc have gone. Can't upload more than one pic at a time. On the profile page, only rep points received appears (given is gone).

 

Problem is constant on four different browsers (IE9, Firefox, Chrome and Opera). Has Java or Adobe Flash upgraded recently and that is causing problems? I remember that happened in the past.

I have to commend the support staff at Invision. This was a very strange situation that finally was isolated to the advertising display software we use (that is hosted on another site).

It appears that the advertising server was inserting incorrect code into each page where an ad was to appear. The reason that Invision was not able to see the problem was because they were running ad blocker code on their browsers.

If you had ad blocker code, you likely weren't seeing the problems the rest of us were...at least, that's the theory.

 

For the moment, there aren't any ads, but the rest seems to be working again.

 

I do need to put back the ads, but it might take a while to find another ad server...or find out what their issue was.

Can confirm that I run AdBlock and I didn't have any issues.

 

That said, my "Warning Points" have disappeared ... has there been a Royal Pardon? And, the Reputation "Given" list is showing empty. Makes it difficult to see who is giving you the Negative votes.
