I travel with my mobility scooter and a car trunk will not work. I need a mini van or station wagon. The scooter breaks down to three manageable parts. Any reasonable suggestions welcome.

You can get Toyota or Thai Rung MPV taxi at the public taxi stand. If there isn't one in the immediate queue, they'll call one forward from the holding pen - there's always plenty around. The airport (BKK) is meant to be introducing a better queueing system quite soon ... you log your destination and preferred taxi size and wait for your number (or something along those lines).

That might make it impossible to haggle for a better price to Hua Hin or Patts. I've never paid the prices on their laminated cards. I'd take a bus or similar if it wasn't for landing at ridiculous hours.

The Limo Pattaya says, on their web site, that they have Hiace vans available. Looks like it would cost 1,800 baht to get to Pattaya. You would have to hoist yourself up a step or two.

As mentioned, regular public taxis also include the lager vehicles.

Even Mr Toom or T could likely supply a minivan if you specifically requested it.... I have had them arrive without requests.

How far can you go on 1 charge?

Are you angling for some BM to pick you up for free in their truck?

I cant help but think that if you emailed say Mr T and Mr Toom they would have a solution for your problem in that they must run into it on a regular basis.

Not a problem. I often arrive with a lot of luggage (three big suitcases and a carry on) and it's never been a problem to get a "mini-van" taxi from the taxi rank. Mr T, Mr Toom or any other car service can book a mini-van or SUV for you if you prefer to go that route.
