Hi. I went eat a pizza tonight at Brooklyn Diner, following this topic and the nice pics  ;)

We took a Pizza Napoletana (#5) and I will be honest... It's probably the best pizza that I eat this year in Pattaya :nod .

Ok, not everyone like pizza the same way, so I will say it was very similar to the pizza I used to eat in the South of France or North-West of Italia. A nice pizza, easy to eat by hand, crispy and each ingredient very tastefully (tomatoes, cheese, black olives, anchovies, ...)

A few observations:

The place is easy to find, on Soi Buakhao opposite Soi LK. You can stop at it from a bahtbus

The place is cold! really cold :( with strong aircon flow. I use to eat pizza at Pizza Italia or Costa Nostra who have both outside (no aircon) places, so here was not really comfortable for me. I know that some guys (americans?) "like aircon too much", so it may be good for them.

The place is not a pizzeria only, they have a lot of various products (US, UK, Thai) on their menu

The place doesn't look like a pizzeria, and even like a restaurant (at least with "my" French criteria). More like a bar or an small American fast-food (as seen in movies). It's not very big, about 8 tables for 2. Ok for me.

They seem to have way to many staff (8 or 9?) resulting in half of them seating at tables playing with their phone. I can't imagine how so many could be buzzy in this small place ??

The pizza are all at 150 baht Small / 230 baht Big, except the Romana at 210 and the Seafood at 260.

We took a "big" one, but to be fair they are smaller than the pizza at Pizza Italia

Drinks are cheap, like in a bar, by exemple 25 baht for a soda water

I will come back

I've said pretty much the same thing except for your last sentence but only MeGoDanceNow seemed to pick it up.

I had a Pepperoni Pizza there yesterday. It was good - even though to MY taste the pizzas from that small Italian place in near Soi Exzyte was a little better.

What time is the breakfast served ?

Thanks for trying our Pizza, Odense!

Breakfast is served daily from 9 AM till late.

My pleasure Sunny V - as I said I liked the pizza :-)

While I had my pizza (I think it was around 19) a man tried to order the breakfast but was told: "not at this time" so perhaps it is late is late in the morning or late in the afternoon - otherwise I would not call 19 overly late.

Rich Man Poor Man has spicy sausage patties reminiscent of Jimmy Dean style. Yummy.

Had the western burger yesterday. Really not good. The meat tasted odd and was hard and dry. Fries were not cooked enough.Mozzarella sticks were good though.

Been a number of times with friends and we tried a few items from the menu. The burger is bad and now we stick to the pizza and nothing else.

What makes you think it was meat?

On a recent bar crawl a good friend of mine was nice enough to pick up a pepperoni pizza from Brooklyn Diner for us. Thin crust style which i prefer. I thought it was very good and will make an effort to make it back there!

Hi. A small update for pizza too: I go eat a pizza 2 or 3 times a month with a friend of my country. We now always go to Brooklyn dinner for pizza (and pizza only) and really we don't know of a better place in South Pattaya/Center Pattaya area. I continue to recommend this place :nod

Edit: a 10 baht increase in Pizza prices since my last October report: now 160 baht for small pizza and 240 for big ones. Soda water 30 baht. We usually took 2 different small pizza for 2. More than enough for me :)

A picture of our Breakfast which I shot about 2 Month ago.

Jury is out if this sausage is appropriate for a 3 $ complete Breakfast?

So far we have not received complaints.

But, as I stated before, I can't rule out some glitch on our side and inappropriate substitutes having been served. In this case I would love to know details so I can take measures.

From my neck of the woods, that is sausage links along with either ham or pork chops. I have not seen beans for breakfast in the south US..

Missed the suggestion it was some variation of an American breakfast. Believe it includes what our British colleagues call bacon.

LOL, between the lines the business owner was trying to understand what different nationalities were expecting.

But go ahead, have some American gravy on your English biscuit for breakfast.

Sunny,

I was eating at your place when a couple came in and made the remark, "how are they supposed to make a pizza when they don't have a fire going?" I think what the meant was that the bricks needed to be heated long before the cooking started.

Sunny, to be honest, I'm not sure what time it was. I do remember that I ordered the schnitzel myself and the sun was out.

Finding a good pizza is an issue in Pattaya

I'll D2D one soon from here. Also the burger does look very good.

I usually go to Carl's Jr in the mall, as most other places are terrible

I'll give this one a try soon also

I had the bacon cheeseburger recently by way of Waiter on Wheels. It was quite a good burger period. Cheese slice probably came wrapped in plastic from Big C, but that would be quibbling. It did have real bacon.
