Simple to answer. No attitude whatsoever!!! (Using same number of exclamation points as you). Simply correcting an error. Codeshare wasn't in the conversation originally-only when posted as follow up, in error. I thought it was obvious that it WAS a codeshare since VS will never fly to Ft. Myers. My error in assuming something so obvious.I'm always happy to answer any questions regarding airlines. I certainly don't know it all but I know a bit. I was also trained by BA in NYC,VS in MCO and KL in AMS to handle those carriers a my airline handled those carriers. Happy to clarify.

You really need to loose that chip on your shoulder, it's doing you no good at all!

Now I know he said Virgin, and you say they don't fly there, and your correct. But. If he has booked it this way, and hasn't really looked at all the flight info, you will see that it clearly looks like he would be flying Virgin, but is actually a "code share" flight with Delta.

It is a codeshare for sure. VS flying to Ft Myers would be akin to DL flying to Colchester!

Now you've gone and hurt my feelings. But we do agree on liking military history. Football-wise,not so much. I remember that Kneebraska-Miami game in the Orange Bowl-no wait,I was there.

Careful!! It may be a codeshare with Virgin!!! Kidding, but we do codeshare with them on every flight since we own a large portion.

When I go to book flights both domestic and international, I often come across that it is listed as a particular airline's flight but the actual flight is on another carrier. If you book a flight through Delta but end up on a secondary carrier, is it still not related to the airline you bought the ticket from?

Not really related. We share revenue on every codeshare flight. The 1st giveaway is a 4 digit flight number if it's codeshare. It matters when using frequent miles and on occasion, accruing miles and using FF miles.
