Glad to hear it. Likely I will risk my health at the Fishermans Cafe tonight by the lake.

Let me know if you have any problems, like I said I want to lose weight........And I'm thinking perhaps if I cast my net on the other side of the Suk' at the Fisherman's cafe by the Lake........I'll catch something!

Sorry it's the Damascus thing got me all biblical.....

No problems so far, although experience tells me these things can develop later in the day.

The Fisherman's will certainly not help you to lose weight, I always have Nan bread and rice and the included couple of papadums leaves me well stuffed. That lake does appear fuller now, although I doubt the fish have caught up yet.

For losing weight I can certainly recommend an Indian restaurant, in India! My memories from my induced weight loss have made me a cautious person indeed, as I emerged hollow eyed after 4 very unpleasant days.

Hi,

I have a friend who got very sick in India and lost a lot of weight. He never could put an ounce on after no matter what he ate. Still with us, so it can't have been too serious for his long term health.

Well I was somewhat lighter after my illness, but have (sadly) recovered it a few times over.

Been there more times than I want to remember...

To lose weight... Just drink the water... you're guaranteed to lose lots of weight...

I've had cases which have lasted more than a week...

I went back again to Little India today.........I like the food and the fact it opens early. I'd had a shag mid-morning so no worries about my breath smelling or dropping a deadly fart later with my 'squeeze of the day'........(I don't know where i get this reputation of being an uncharitable person....I think this level of thoughtfulness shows just caring and considerate I am).

The owner always wants a chat and I thought I'd broach the subject of this thread. I didn't say what chat board but he was already aware of all of this. He looked sad and a little helpless.......He said ......

"I always try my best here......and you never know...........If this man come back and it happen again can say my restaurant for sure. But I don't know. I hope he comes back and we can talk."

I admitted the reason why I came last week was to see how things....er..... went.....and that I'd certainly not had a problem. I said, 'he had a lot of support especially from the customers from Cherry bar so he shouldn't worry too much.......In the end it's been good publicity'..

It seems the majority of posters on this thread have had no problems after eating at Little India. I think I'll give it a go next time I'm in Pattaya.

It is interesting to note that the OP has not revisited this thread since posting it.
