I had a chicken pot pie yesterday, after missing such for a decade or more. It was much better than a Marie C that I've always held as the standard.

As you say, the crust is flaky and layers peel apart flawlessly.

The pie inside was chicken, peas, and corn with a tasty filling.

I'll be back.

I've had the beef n mushroom pie and a sausage roll. Both were very good. I'll add that 1 pie is a decent meal on its own.

Inside view...peas, carrots, chicken, pie stuff (I don't know what that liquid filling is)

I'm in the LOP 'Land of Pies' Australia right now. My son played soccer Thursday .... I had a pie. Today he played rugby in the morning... I had a pie for breakfast..... Thenhe played soccer and it was pie for lunch.

I've decided pies are for eating outside that's when they are at their best....they've all been delicious here....

Funnily enough I go to Tinnies two or three times a week for their sandwiches.

Smallest & most expensive pies I have had in pattaya area in past 15 years. Corn is for feeding pigs not people. IMHO

Dear me, don't like a nice butter dripping corn on the cob?

I think the pie filling may also include cream of chicken soup, I have heard of it being used before.

Not sure about that, love my pies in the UK but was sat in Witherspoons with juice and gravy stains down my front a few too many times.
