Noticed last night quite a back up in traffic on 2nd Rd. First obstruction is at the Soi 15 intersection.

Then starting at The Bayview they're digging holes in the road again.

The holes are for putting utility conduit underground. No idea why they're doing this again as last year they had the road dug up for the same reason. Amazing Thailand.

I inspected this morning round about 0830.  These are genuine and no AI enhancements.

Second Road at junction with Sir 15 are above.

Then below walking from Second Road along Soi 15 to the rear of The Avenue.

I appreciate that 'one item of heavy plant' in a field does not necessarily equate to a new building project, however what was a barbed wire fence surrounding the site has been replaced by a tin fence. Naklua Road almost opposite where the Kiss Foods and Drink used to be.

Today's Soi 15 update.

The owners of the two pairs of shoes were in the pipe and looked to be clearing it of debris.

Wonder how they're going to repair the separated sections of pipe. One would have expected them to do that before they backfilled.

The backhoe threw a shoe.

Korando's is now riverfront property.

Nothing happening on the 2nd Rd end.

There's something definitely wrong with the project when the pipe is full of water and we haven't had rain in over a week.

Naklua Road - This area used to be an open market with some outdoor bars.  Very dry and a lot of dust being kicked up around the earth mover.

Beach Road - the footpath continues and work has started on a small section in the middle of the road near Central Festival.

Today's Soi 15 disaster update.

Not easy to see in this photo, but the seam on the left side of the DIY access tube hasn't been sealed and you can see the backfill looking for an escape route into the drain.

The concrete fix they made a month or two ago to bring the road surface level with the top of the drain gate is already spalling off.

Another not easy to see in the photo, but looking down into the drains on the completed section of Soi 15, every one is filled to the top of the drain pipe with sand and gravel. Someone has a big job ahead of them cleaning out the drains.

Piss alley has become a busy little back rd, they were queueing to get into it from soi 15 yesterday... I too was glad to be on 2 wheels...despite the heat.

Soi 15.  Whilst most of it looks a mess, there has been a significant area where concrete has been laid since I last visited.  Taken late afternoon today.
