Today's Soi Mud (previously known as Soi 15) update.

Please take a moment to admire the quality Thai workmanship on leveling the concrete.

Happen to come at the right time to watch them moving a section of the large drain pipe.

As they started on the turn where I positioned myself to take pics, I realized as I watched the pipe start to sway I was in an untenable position. With the concrete wall behind me and a large pipe swinging it had all the makings for a very bad ending for me.

Found a safer position and decided to make a movie of the fun.

^^^ Once they start the repaving I'm guessing less than two months before they tear up some part of the road surface for another project.

Quite a surprise this morning to see the tarmacadam surface had been laid on parts of this section.  Of course it does mean that the other side of the road also has to receive the same treatment.

Soi 15 update. Someone finally got smart and put up a barrier to keep the construction mess out of the Buakhao drains.

The Korando's babbling brook is still burbling along nicely.

The beginnings of another hole on the 2nd Rd end of Soi 15.

Have you compared the location to the latest map of the Government's vision of the new monorail system .... Could be a hub station or whatever they call it ....???

And several months ago they were claiming the work would be done by August 20th. Again, no year mentioned.

Beach Rd. repaving is done on the north end.

The palm trees are now sporting big ass, super bright street lights. Better remember to bring sunglasses if you're going to walk the footpath at night.

There's also a whole slew of new combination street and footpath lights.

The north end shower is still sitting uncompleted. Although it looks like they've hooked up the water main.

New "5G signs" getting a test run.

Working on another shower farther south. I was tempted to remind them they having finished the one to the north yet.

Working on more lights to turn night into day.

Road resurfacing is now up to the Hilton.

Work on giving the manhole covers an six inch erections.

Soi 15 watched for about 10 minutes while they squeezed the excavator through an opening just barely big enough.

At this point I thought for sure I was going to witness the equipment tumbling over into the hole.
