I know you refuse to go there, but the ads I was commenting of from local Pattaya vendors are usually to show they have the best price in town.

When it is more of a "We are the only stockist", then you can see the comments moaning about the price or suggestions that it is XXX Baht elsewhere.

I just prefer this format for this question.  Qualified expats, no douchebags, no shills.  As you know, l do almost nothing with FB except post pics of my wife and me drinking beer and relaxing.

So, what's the going rate for a Sunday lunch/carvery?  We love those, can't get them here.  Witherspoons looks quite good.

When I lived there and before my hip replacement surgery, I had a girl coming to my apartment to cut my hair.  Friendly with my wife due to some mutual acquaintances.  200B, wouldn't take a tip.  I doubt I'll see that price again although we're still in touch with her.

Yep, I usually pay 150 plus tip. And your concierge would probably see that as expensive. A THai guy came and sat next to me once in the barbers and he paid less. Sometimes a little Thai comes in handy.

Irish Johnny is down from Bangkok, were going to Lewinsky's for a couple eye openers, Bacardi and Jack/coke 110baht each.  American Breakfast about 120 baht . Par 3 golf 400 baht.Bolt 100 baht each way.  There may be scouts from the LIV tour there and we will probably get an invite so I wont be posting with you cunts here anymore.

I think you need to tell us what items you need to know about...

Dettol, what a rip off, about 500 baht for 500ml. The smell reminds me of UK hospitals and makes one feel things are clean.

Bruce you wanted specifics so perhaps boring but Im moving to my condo today: Beachfront 55 sq meters 15,000 /month. 45,000 upfront. My move in Lazada order was 1700 for an Air Fryer and 800 for a Patio Chair, lesser items, shampoo, cleaners,electric pepper grinders etc totals 6,600 baht.  Girl from Bangkok 2,000 per night and I'm sending her back 380 bus fare and 100 Motorcycle. Buying a friends dirt bike just for the occasional trip to Villa Market 20,000 baht. Eye openers and American Breakfast at Lewinskys probably 600baht before I check out the hotel. Waitress said she would do me for 2,000 this morning but I may pass. I have been spending 400 day on Bolts, I just give the driver 100 baht no matter the indicated fare. Pizza for dinner about 300 baht. 

I just saw Jackos post , I sometimes buy a dozen or so crabs at Naklua Market and steam them with beer and Old Bay. I think 800 baht . A good quality pound of frozen shrimp from Makro 230 baht for fried or shrimp salad. Things like Hellmans Mayo and celery seem very expensive.

Fresh unsweet ice tea is a staple for me , always a pitcher in the fridge . Also lemonade but I’m at a loss why lemons are expensive here and lime practically are free . I just do crystal light but Villa sells out within 2 days you would think they would order to demand. , same with the hot dogs, I don’t like the Thai stuff and German dogs tough. So Oscar Mayer and those cheap Farmhouse buns but Villa can’t keep them in stock.

Does a couple of glasses each morning with a small electric juicer.

If she is off to Bahn Nok for a while she spends time making a jug for the fridge and I resist the temptation to drink it with gin!

 I’ll put a juicer on my Lazada list . im a drunk but there are days tea and lemonade are best

How many lemon trees have you seen growing in Thailand. It is worth your while to get a plant yourself, if you can find one....

Yep.

We have one orange tree that produces a lot of fruit. Unfortunately they are too sour to eat. Fortunately my wife buys some "stuff" to add to the juice and makes washing liquid out of it ..!!

I was waiting for the next delivery on Sunday to post what the "stuff" was but I thought I'd follow your prompt...

We also have 3 Makruat "keffir" lime trees that also produce a lot of fruit which my wife squeezes out to provide the juice for my morning lime and soda water drink..And of course the leaves are used for cooking ..
