When you see videos of high rise pools sloshing water back and forth during an earthquake, that's a good thing as long as a person doesn't get tossed over the side of a building along with the water.

Yep, I was thinking about that last night.. During my 18 months working there I saw roadworks being cut into mountains in the Southeastern Provinces that would collapse if anyone sneezed, The Rakhine mountains were too dangerous to drive across in the rain, Bago was very susceptible to landslides and the houses out in the countryside were less safe than a cowshed in Isaan (In fact many families lived directly above the cows). Normal townhouses in Yangon were so old they probably just imploded in a pile of dust! However, I don't expect any meaningful news to come out other than the major towns
