The rates you can get in Thailand are here. They seem to be bank dependent rather than Pattaya dependent. If there are places in the UK that offer very similar or better rates, as Fatboyfat mentions, that is extremely interesting. Historically we have always known, better to buy your baht in Thailand! Similarly USA... tell us more, useful information. I think a guy can perhaps read here, or look on the internet, at bank rates to decide whether the 10 baht change he will have left matters when he has changed his £20 and had a beer and a blow-job. He certainly doesn't want to be wandering around 30 exchange places in Pattaya. What the rate is on a yahoo page doesn't mean shit... just a guideline of the direction it is heading. What a load of waffle...... here's to 51/£ and 33/$US.

If someone looks it up after the 24hr they should be able to find a film or actor where they are actually credited. Some time back the rule was established that 'uncredited' was not acceptable..... I think a good reason came along with the rule.

I was in the UK from the UAE some years back and my very well paid friend was taking his new acquisition out for a spin and took us to a nice country pub in his classic Rolls Royce. On the way out we came nose-to-nose with another car on the access road and he said 'what's wrong with this cunt!'.... I said 'YOU are on the wrong side of the road'. The guy in the other car was not inclined to beep or shake a fist at a classic Rolls, perhaps he thought HRH was in there coming back from the pub!

Really, has your friend determined that it is indeed cancelled yet? The reason I mentioned it was that the bank will not cancel the Direct Debit unless the Electric Authority first agree to it.

I was having that very thought only recently as I watched advert after advert for yet another condo being built in 'central Pattaya'. The other one is 'in the heart of Pattaya', which I guess means 'not in the centre'...... 'Minutes away from' another good one, The only place minutes away from Walking St is Walking St. I was coming here in the 80s and still think of Jomtiem and Naklua as different towns! And certainly getting from a condo on Jomtiem 2nd Rd to walking Street you might think yourself some distance off stuck in the traffic. You should perhaps waste some time searching out a good option on one of your trips, and when satisfied, stick to it. I did that for years with The Residence Garden and then Nova Park. I still think this forum to be a good place to ask, someone will propose a good place. Some areas may look too far out, but in reality, if they are on a baht bus route or near a main Rd, Tai, Klang or Nua, be actually easy.
