Im just got anudder one..... so do I have to go back and find some box to uncheck?
-
Coincidentally when I rode through town on Sunday after the Expats meeting, I think I passed this guy, then out on second rd there was Glitterman riding his bike in full regalia looking a bit hot I might add. The locals must think we farangs are a nutty lot. We got a Thai version or two of the German tramp hanging around the Nong Plalai market. Tempting to buy the German guy some new shorts before it becomes an embarrassment...

Obviously today's messing about in my settings didn't change anything as I just got a joekicker quoted a post you made..... email alert... Here's back at ya!
-
Yeah I have been getting these and have been into my settings 3 times now unchecking and checking various boxes. Don't need them as my routine is to look at new posts and would come across them anyhow. Likely only Pappy being infantile anyhow!

What else...Annie Hall.

So easy for Mook Manhattan Murder Mystery

It is a rather 'English' film and may not have been released everywhere.Filmed on the Isle of Man actually as I recognised a few places. They used Patrick Swazyee in it although I think he was quite sick at the time, and Rowan Atckinson of Mr Bean fame. Response to Jerry.... Crimes and Misdemeanors.

I daren't mate, just daren't.I have a fridge over there in her kitchen that I do not venture near. I know for a fact it get's used instead of the bin outside because it is nearer.

I am not sure if it is an 'old wives tale', but it was often said the renter would come ans steal his own motorbike from infront of your hotel at nightime:. I was paranoid enough to get my own padlock on it!

Well the idea is that you respond to the latest correct post, and there are a few well known faces in 'Keeping Mum'... it was on my TV the day before I posted actually (Sophon). It seems a bit disorganised to retreat back up the thread and supply alternative answers, and strange for me to respond to my own 'Keeping Mum' post. If the 24 hour rule is to be imposed, why did you not use it on the latest post?

Read your contract, read it well.Owners may or may not have taken out insurance, but the contract should define liability, and likely yes you are responsible for the contents. Generally some security deposit is taken, but this is just to get a bit more cash into the renter's pocket and is not the extent of your liability. If you rent a scooter in LOS, generally you are responsible for it 100%, so if it goes, you pay. A small number of companies (Mai Pang is one) offer more comprehensive insurance. Not certain it covers theft as I know motorcycle theft insurance is expensive in Pattaya, and often only available as an incentive to buy new.

Err Keeping Mum is a film not a statement!

Yes, 'low season' prices. They go up in November.
-
Yes that is correct, owned by the owner of Saha Farms.Rich family that have many chicken farms and land in Thailand. Located on Sukhumvit, West side just North of the City. It used to be free to go in and take a look around, but they saw the tourist potential and now charge (100 baht for Thais, more for tourists).

Award Tickets: 1st Class Depart/economy Return - Or Visa Versa?
jacko replied to SmellyFarang's topic in Airline Discussion
I was a regular on United Biz Class long haul to Hong Kong and was annoyed I had to use the same airline as the group travelling. God forbid a yank has to travel a non-USA carrier and lose those precious miles. We could have gone SQ or Cathay. All the stewardesses were older and hatchet faced, and seemed to be anti-subservience. I don't do it at home for my long suffering husband, so I ain't fetching you another beer! -

I thought you voted neither....... On the way out a lot of guys are in a stupor, fast track and lounge access might be the best idea. I also say Bangkok knows how to treat premium passengers, in the UK they are so PC and socialist they don't make much effort to segregate. -
Paul Scholes is the most booked player in the history of the Premiership. He is also the most booked player in the Champions League. It would be hard to judge whether he could have received more had he played for another side, say a Sam Allardyce side. I contend not...

Glad it at least clear now... you will have to resize each window to avoid the defective area. That was my worst fear.

Point proven.

Just a couple more quickies....Does it appear to be just the taskbar that is blinking, or is there a little bit just above it blinking too? Roll your mouse over the top edge of the taskbar, the cursor should change from an pointer to a double headed arrow....left click and drag upwards, this will increase the height of the taskbar and you can answer my question easily. If you have tried to click on the blink, I presume your mouse pointer remains visible in the defective area, or does it blink on and off too? Are you running ATI? There was an issue with Vista SP1, and Aero option, try the following to change your Windows appearance. Close open programs and right click on your desktop. Select Personalise. Select Windows Color and Apprearance. Select Open Classic Appearance Properties for more color options. Another window 'Appearance Settings' should pop up. Deselect Aero (select Windows Vista Basic) Apply and OK Good luck.

No no no, you are meant to struggle to your feet, then limp in an exagerrated fashion for 20 paces, then run off as if nothing happened! I would like to think UK refs are unbiased, or if they are, that like the average UK male, they are biased AGAINST MU. I do believe they fear making strong reaction to big-name player's misdemeanors, in the end the game must go on. But these incidents are relatively few and that googled stats likely have little meaning. Let the game go on, but for me, it will on average, not be dull...
