Coincidentally I was looking at this only recently. I had been looking at International flights from UTP and what appeared to be a weekly one, every Friday to Manchester labelled TOM (Thompson, or TUI) caught my eye. I did try going to the TUI site and entering some dates but couldn't make it work. The UTP website flight number seemed to represent some completely different routes too. Perhaps have to wait until the situation clarifies. Maybe it is only a charter option or linked to package holidays.

Utd have had a good run but not really against any top flight opponents, so interesting game.

There are a lot of guys eking out that bottle of Chang sat on Buakhao stools at the moment. Some make that first one last until 10 am! (Not sure if that is from 9am or 2am!)

Yesterday, when I looked up the rate being offered by the Bangkok Bank in the morning, before the first 8am update, I got a bit of a shock as it had dropped below the 40.0...eek! By the first morning update it had manged to cross back over that number. I also have a spreadsheet with a plot on it (I know, get a life), I have had to lower the bottom/ minimum range a few times over the years, but never ever thought 40 would be tested!

Plenty of different types of Nasi rames pops up with a google, here is one pic. Might be off to Bali for a short trip in a few months.

I got 2 dishes on my house neither of which is used now. Old technology. You would get better selection with a good internet connection! I stream from my laptop but an android box will do the same.

More likely they were expected to work and decided not to! It is a little while but I was struggling to get service in there but darn they were so cute I said nothing.

A little like the radio announcement of the temperature when I was driving to or from work in Phoenix, to them 99 degF, while my car proudly displayed a few over 100. I dread to think what I am breathing in waiting at a red light in town, the smoke belching coach exhaust pointing my way, the blank zombie faces above staring down at me, the baht bus arrogantly spitting my way, and I am more concerned of the silky legs on display. I start to feel short winded often, would a face mask do anything? A Darth Vader helmet is likely what I need. or a Hazmat suit.

I presume that means you are using baht to buy dollars, that rate is usually 40 satang larger than buying baht , selling USD (which is what we are normally doing). Maybe that explains it?

Well my friend confessed yesterday that he does sometimes tie his white hair back into a ponytail, so I suspect it was him you saw at immigration . Although by my evaluation his craggy looks do reveal his age. Perhaps I am relating to my own reflection, you to yours?

I had a good compliment recently as I ran into a Thai lady I had not seen for many years at a wedding. She said Thai men just get older, falang men get more handsome.

I would be surprised he ties his hair back but he might, I could add he is 80 yo and sometimes wears one of those leather hats. I believe he got number 3. You won't see him there today as he will leave his passport until Thursday, today he is coming to my place for some grub and yakkety yak! He is the type to have a few things confused but reported to me it all went efficiently. Even this guy sounds familiar, of a German guy lived around Arunothai near a friend of mine, down to the description of his partner. Sounds like quite the experience reminiscent of the bar scene in the first Star Wars film.

Was it a tall thin Ozzie with scraggly white hair? Based on your recommendation I told him to go Christmas day and he sort of told me he did, then told me it was really busy Christmas Eve. I asked him why he went Christmas Eve then, and he brushed it off saying he got photo and forms and copies done. He also got clamped as he parked in a condo building nearby which cost him 1000 baht. He also said he had to wait until 8.30 for them to start work on Christmas Day having arrived at 07.30, what a fool!
