Saw it on Sky News, a disaster for those trying to get away for Christmas. Many go visit to down under or go to Europe and vice versa. I have a pal who had to rush to UK, but had booked to fly back to Oz Saturday. He is going from Manchester but I am expecting knock on issues. There was mention of a police marksman being seen at Gatwick, but I would expect shooting in all directions to be a dangerous game even if it was UP. Are there not radio interference devices that can block drones? News just now. 120,000 passengers affected. More drone activity seen and the airport still closed. Jesus, if we can't handle a drone what sort of air defences do we have!

I did say he would be lucky to see the year out, or was it gone before Christmas. Although I know he is a big fan of the holiday season busy fixtures period. Liverpool killed him off!

Good feedback, last time I tried (a year ago) it was just left pending until the due date so I got on the bike and went to the office and did it in 2 minutes flat. Immigration is pretty busy this week, lots of people doing retirement extensions ahead of the unknown, so you would still maybe end up in the queue outside waiting for a ticket. Once you get it, it is quick as usual.

Ah, I guess it is still in the middle then where I last saw it. Many years ago I used to occasionally go to the one on the alley running between Soi 7 Beach Rd and Klang, and there were 2 Sea Side venues for quite a while, but I started having concerns about hygiene there. It may well still be there and you certainly have not missed anything. Great thread by the way.

Has it moved.... seems only recently I was looking at The Seaside from a MP halfway down that same street.? Sea Side (It would make sense, nobody in a vehicle could get to it!)

Seems to be common in China.... maybe they don't like cold drinks or are too cheap to turn the fridges up. A pal flew them LHR to BKK and back via Canton and said, they do what it says on the tin. Knowing him I expect they were the best price-wise. That was Dreamliner and 737.

Yes I have done that near Pattaya, but I would say it was 35 years ago! Nearby Islands, koh Larn unlikely, further out Koh Phai, similarly. There is another just past there I can't speak for called Koh Luam. The group of Islands to the south off Sattahip are Navy controlled.

Its the LHR transfer that puts me off in that case. I only recently decided to go via BA/LHR because at least that way it is a straightforward T5/T5, but it was still not very good. BA can't get the shuttles off on time. (And BA Biz Class wasn't worth the money on the old equipment)

Yeah I just took a look at the back of BigC-X, might have been Carrefour when the view was recorded,
