Good feedback, last time I tried (a year ago) it was just left pending until the due date so I got on the bike and went to the office and did it in 2 minutes flat. Immigration is pretty busy this week, lots of people doing retirement extensions ahead of the unknown, so you would still maybe end up in the queue outside waiting for a ticket. Once you get it, it is quick as usual.

Ah, I guess it is still in the middle then where I last saw it. Many years ago I used to occasionally go to the one on the alley running between Soi 7 Beach Rd and Klang, and there were 2 Sea Side venues for quite a while, but I started having concerns about hygiene there. It may well still be there and you certainly have not missed anything. Great thread by the way.
