directly next to the entrance to View Talay #2 is a storage place that also rents safe deposit boxes. I used their storage facilities in the past and recommend them. Sorry I' sot sure where I have their name and number kept.

I've used www.strong.com and overall thought the service was good. i still think it's good but it does have a glitch for some. A few months ago I received an email from Strong which told me there had been complaints to Strong from various copyright holds. While there was no mention of www.priatebay.com the email did go on to say it was understood that at times there can be a virus or some maleware that causes a particular copyrighted item to be downloaded from a torrent site. I was informed if I did not tend to the virus or maleware situation, my already paid subscription to the serve would be cancelled without refund due to violation of terms of service. I heeded the warning and took care of the virus by being sure there was no further connection to the above mentioned site. . I had to open a secured deposit account for 50K THB and as mentioned above bury the bank with photo copies of passport, account #'s and address info and lease. In the end it was held up as the bank noticed my retirement visa was coming up for renewal. Of course that wasn't told to me voluntarily. Took a bit of prodding to find out. If you so make it to China Town I'd highly recommend this hotel. http://www.shanghaimansion.com/bangkok-hotel/bangkok-hotel.html It was disappointing when we first saw it getting out of the taxi but once up the escalator and inside the hotel I felt like I'd stepped back in time. From the food to the service it was totally outstanding.

. I agree. Bangkok is bristling with culture. I only wish the traffic could be mitigated a bit more. When the Sky train or underground aren't convenient the taxis are akin to standing still.
