I stay at the lodge all the time , the last time was march 2011 for 17 nights. The 700-800 baht rooms could be described as Shabby, the other rooms are fine. I love the hotels facilities, the only criticism i have of the rooms is that the TV could be bigger. The Hotel was at about 95% capacity in March so it cant be doing to shabby

Cant think of any Ski Boat sacams. Although when they take you out it might just be your own posse of 2-3 but coming back they cram up to 12 people on the ski boat. So if its a cost factor you can approach the guys on the beach and say when you have a group wanting to go out well jump on board for an extra 500-1000baht

you stayed in the sabai wing of sabai lodge the sabi wing pool is one of four pools in Sabai Lodge. Most mornings I had breakfast around and a swim in the sabai wing pool and most evenings i had a swim and a couple of beers/cocktails in the main pool. You have full access to all four pools no matter what part of the hotel you stay, same same access to the restaurant. AS for free wifi one of my mates used it and was quite happy with it.

In elven trips to Thailand had never called into the Blues factory, this trip one of the guys i was with discovered it and i ended up going back three times to catch Lam Morrisions set. If you havent seen him then i would highly recomend it

I have gone through two blackberrys and have just gone back to a normal $30 nokia , at first receiving emails on the blackberry was fantastic for work but eventually it was dictating my life, the little redlight would come on late on a friday night id read the email and get stressed about a situation that i had little or no control over and could of easily waited until Monday etc

Ate at PBG twice on my recent trip , food quality is ok , service times can vary greatly but this inst unique to PBG, in Thailand quite often a person who has ordered 3 dishes has all of his arrive and has eaten before the rest of the parties entrees arrive. The food inst the highest standard around , however for the location and price to me it still represents very good value for money and a pleasant dining expereince.

Went for a walk to the Pier and with Pattaya being packed to the rafters with russians watched in amazement as a ferry from Koh Larn arrived backed , it looked to be overloaded by 50% , but with so many Russian , Indian Arab travellers who seem to have little idea about courtesy and who all rush to be first on or off the boat as the boat was coming into port it was at about a 40% angle and the back of the boat was about 3 inches above sea level. This was the ferry at about 4.30 so id hate to see the final ferry of the day. I think your prediction will come true.

doesnt make much sense if that they dont know if your in the room or not , i always leave my keys at reception so they only have to check with reception. I have found at Sabai lodge they are first class if i get up at 9.00am, 10.00am , Lunchtime or 2 pm , my room is cleaned by the time I have returned from breakfast.

Why would pasadena need a separate Entrance its not a bar, their is no walk of shame thats what the OP was trying to avoid.

Pasadena Lodge is a guesthouse and doesnt have bar downstairs
