Went into the place I purchased from and they gave me the same advice, said viewsonic would come and and fix it if under warranty. I have to dig out my receipt as i will get it fixed. But i purchased a 24" Full HD widescreen for $219 (too cheap) I'll use the other one when its fixed in my office.

My 22" Inch widescreen Viewsonic shit itself today , aparrantley its an easy fix replace capacitors , just need a soldering iron. Small Job for anyone mechanically minded, ill give it a go but no doubt f*ck it up . and end up buyin a new one there cheap as here in Australia about $180

Have stayed at Pasadena a couple of times and did so on the back of nothing but positive reviews . And have since never really read a negative reveiw about the place other than the rooms could be a little bigger. Personally i dont like LK area I don't think the guesthouses are value compared to Hotels. Some good cheap eating places is the best thing about the area, along with Lolitas and Devils den The bars are nothing special.

nothing about being perfect. Having a little empathy for someone who has pleaded to me for help and whose life may be in real danger i would of thought was a normal human reaction. Again i don't put myself in the genius category because I would consider calling the police or my local embassy for assistance in a potential life threatening situation.

Lets get this straight. Someone calls you for a plea for help, you do nothing for four months but post for suggestions on a mongering board and the answers you get are what anyone with half a brain could work out contact the police, protection agencies , emabsssies and even then you find it hard to have any sympathy for the fact that she have been brutally murdered because she made a stupid decision. :ang2

I think its a good idea. I think its one of those things if someone else organized and you went along reluctantly too you'd end up having a fantastic time and the girls would love it also Your biggest problem is going to be getting someone motivated enough to organize a group and then that group getting up earlier enough or staying out of the bars long enough to participate in the cruise. Would be great idea for families as well , taking the kids on a real treasure Hunt (obviously seperate from the adult cruise)

I actually purchased a 900 baht one about 2 years ago it sits in my suitcase and never comes out until im in thailand. Takes 1 minute to set up and then when i want to spend 90 minutes by myself to recharge the batteries i can watch a good movie rather than flicking through 60 channels of crap on Sophon.

Whats so unusaul about that , heaps easier to find a hotel room than a flight, the flight always the first thing i book.

I stayed at kerati Home Stays opposite the rockhouse and its the only hotel i have ever checked out of early and noise was a major problem. I found the nose to be more of a problem early in the morning 5-7am , not so much from bars as most of them are empty but moreso, motorbikes flying through the soi or a motor bike horn , food vendors who set up outside the hotel etc Pasedena is lodged right in the corner of the Soi, have stayed their a couple of times and no problems with then noise.

The reason the 30 day unoccupied exclusion on their is to protect the insurer. Houses that are unoccupied for long periods increase the Insurers risk of , squatters, vandalsm , break, and entry as well as any minor problems escalating into major ones. eg leaking pipe that goes unchecked for sixty days. What you need to do is convince the Insurer their is not that greater risk by extending your cover for 90 plus days. You need to let them know that 1) The mail is being collected regulary 2) lawns are being mowed 3) next door neighbor is a trustworthy sod, or even better, Miss Bu

I havent stayed here but the Liquid Lounge is adjacent to Club blue and the rooms like quite good http://www.liquidloungepattaya.com/guestsuites.html I also agree with the previous poster that metro apartments gets a lot of good reviews

I always thought that was the case , have stayed at Areca before, in september last year stayed at Pasadena and went to Arecas reception and asked if we could use the pool for for a fee and was told " no, for guest's only" to the op, The pool on top of mikes is ok, its clean, however can get crowded on weekends , I can't remember the exact price but its under 100 baht, only problem by the time you walk back to your hotel from Mikes your all hot and sweaty again. If a pool is important this time of year you can get plenty of good hotels that include a pool for under 1000baht a night

Yes they are for the car park rooms, and I agree they would be noisy but not as Noisy as places in Soi LK or Soi bakhou i have stayed at , with Motorbikes and high pitched squeels from the girls etc I booked this week and got the Deluxe B Large Pool Room for 1150b per night, advertised for 1350 on website. have booked for 8 nights then off to Angels for five nights before coming back for seven more at Sabai Lodge
